12 guests' feedbackVery nice stay, will go there again. Pool just takes a little while to heat up, but that won't be a problem in the warmer months.
We had a very nice stay. Alida helps you out quickly with any questions, arrangements etc. Very neat, beautiful place with shops where you can basically buy anything just a stone's throw away.

We had a delightful stay at @ Oudam. Very clean space with just enough things to keep us busy with.
The host was not responsive to our messages. We had to phone lekker slaap many times before they finally got hold of her to respond to us about arrival and where to find keys etc. We asked the host for an extra toilet roll. Only 1 roll provided. 4 adults overnight with one of them having a problem that's why we needed one extra for in case. and she did not respond. My husband and his friend drove into town at night, everything was closed , the hotel eventually very kindly gave us an extra roll !!!. Aircon remote not around. . The braai area was dirty , with old meat stuck on grid , with no implements to. Clean it either. We had to use paper packets to try clean grid and heat it to kill germs!. The lighter was provided but was empty. So we had nothing to light fire with , we eventually found a lighter we had brought with fortunately. The toilet was giving problems water running you had to fiddle with handle to stop it. . . The hot tub was also not great looking as per photos. Needs attention. It is also quite deep so for an overnight stay you could never get it heated up in time to actually use it. . The place was very clean , the cleaning lady very sweet and lovely and house was pretty inside, beds comfortable and the indoor fireplace was pleasant , but these issues mentioned need attention to make it a fabulous stay.

The unit was quite private and the location is nice and quiet. The small pool and air conditioning helped a lot in a town like Montagu with high temperatures. Thank you very much for the wine and dried fruit treat - it makes the visit very personal to welcome guests. We will come and stay again.
But please note there was a big animal sitting right next to the fridge. It looks like a lizard but the bigger vision of a lizard. Please have a look at such things.
We left the Cape late and had to find a place that would be animal friendly. @ Oudam was the only accommodation that responded immediately and accommodated us with our request. On arrival it was already late, but we were surprised with a very clean place and a welcome basket full of goodies. It was a nice surprise. When we pass by again and possibly look for a place to sleep, we will definitely want to stay at @ Oudam again.
@ Oudam is in a quiet, pleasant neighbourhood, conveniently close to a selection of restaurants and the R62. Alida is a pleasant, helpful host, on hand to assist with any needs. The unit is clean, neat and sufficient for a small family and overnight stays, with thoughtful complimentary touches.
Very friendly hostess, beautifully clean, quiet and peaceful, lovely bedding, good quality towels, everything you need, lovely private garden and braai facilities! Will definitely visit there again.
