We had a great stay, beautiful neat place. Will definitely stay there again.
On arrival, the host said we owed her the balance for our stay. We were taken aback as we had paid the balance to Lekka Slaap on the 18th Nov. Although we showed her on Duncan's bank statement on his computer, she wasn't satisfied. Thankfully, the lady from Lekka Slaap phoned and reassured us, so all was fine. We realised it was a busy time and had obviously slipped through the net.

Very quiet environment and located close to everything. The accommodation was comfortable with excellent mattresses and bedding. What particularly impressed me was that there was an iron and ironing board. Most guest houses do not have those items and they are only needed for clothes from a suitcase. The rooms are clean. It's a very nice and neat place and really clean and comfortable. The only complaint is the terribly cramped kitchen. It's really very uncomfortable to prepare a meal for it. Work surface is totally lacking. Give space. Only suitable for making tea/coffee, not food.

We had a warm welcome, the rooms are beautiful and well-equipped to be completely self-sufficient, we made use of that. Even though it is close to a centre in Durbanville it was lovely to be on the stoep in the evening. It is ideally located between Paarl/Stellenbosch and Cape Town so that you can travel there within 30 minutes.
My stay was wonderfully peaceful. The hostess was very helpful and considerate - that box of long life milk was my saving grace on the evening of my arrival! The owners were very friendly. It is safe and I could come and go late at night/early morning without feeling anxious at all. The best - going out and leaving everything as is and then returning to find a clean, serviced room. This is what I call a vacation!

It was lovely to stay here, but our M-Net didn't work.
The guest house is well located. Only criticism is that the beds are only doubles and we could perhaps sleep more comfortably in a queen size (my husband is 6"4). Also there are bad SABC and e-TV channels - no Supersport or news channels. And really, SABC has absolutely nothing on it.

At one point we did work for large lodges evaluating their lodge, staff and services. Therefore, we can confidently say that 10 Windell meets all the requirements - the place to stay as well as the friendly hostess. We wanted to extend our stay, but couldn't get another place at 10 Windell and it goes without saying why.

The location is perfect and central if you want to explore Cape Town and a bit of the interior. It is a quiet neighborhood, close to shops and places to eat. Marinda-they are certainly nice and friendly people. The rooms are quite large, clean and tidy. Will definitely stay there again when we come to the Cape.
