12 guests' feedbackOwners communicated frequently to ensure we were comfortable and happy. Friendly and excellent service. Our "fellow residents" in Marloth paid regular visits, mornings and evenings. Warthogs, kudus, zebras, pygmy mouse dogs were an experience for the grandchildren. Our late night friends did not disappoint us one night. The giraffe that came to say hello was a bonus. Thanks Jeanette!
Small, cramped, dark and stuffy. Fans are available, but insufficient. The gas geyser is installed in the tiny kitchen/living area instead of outside against the wall and gives off so much heat that it transforms the cottage into a sauna. The house is dark inside and the curtains can only be partly drawn up to let in more light, because the curtains are tied together at the top and therefore cannot be moved open. The bathroom is also small and cramped and the shower still has a plastic curtain instead of a shower door, with the result that the bathroom floor is soaking wet every time the shower is used. As for the shower curtain, this is 2019 people, not 1975 anymore! Sorry, but for someone who wants to holiday in comfort and ease, I cannot recommend Swarwitpens 2362. 3 out of 10.
We had a nice kuier with our friend. Fantastic nature. Clean house and we really enjoyed the braai area.

The house is cozy and excellently equipped. Great family time and enough space to fill tanks alone. I could walk for miles, paint, read, build puzzles, bake and brew, my husband could barbecue by himself every day and watch the fire outside at night, and the children could read and play games.
It was really very nice, the owners were very friendly and helpful with the TV.
To get the keys to the house was a problem. Had no map of Marloth Park. The directions we got from the gate was completely unclear. We drove this way and that for three quarters of an hour before we stopped a Field Security bakkie to help us. After that it was easy. We drove from Brakpan to Marloth, we were 4 people all above 70 and really didn't need to go looking for the security office to get the key! A map of Marloth that shows all the necessary places would have cancelled out all the inconvenience. The rest of our stay was fine!
It was a lovely time in the forest. Unfortunately, the first impression we received on arrival wasn't very welcoming. We first had to wash the dishes, which were in a poor condition and sweep the house. The fans in the rooms were dirty and the couch in the living room was broken and you couldn't sit on it. It immediately created the atmosphere for disappointment. But after everything was is in place we enjoy our time.
Very nice place. Clean and tidy and well equipped. The patio chairs worked overtime at night! The silence is incredible. The children really enjoyed being so close to wild animals and feeding them. Security companies regularly patrol the streets, which makes one feel safe. On arrival the stopcock against the house gave problems but Dawn sorted it out within 15 minutes and she called back later to see if everything was ok. We were very impressed with the good service. Will definitely use the place again.
Very nice place for what we needed. Suggestions: 1. Living room furniture too big for the small space there is. Older people who struggle to stand up couldn't use it and we had to use the patio chairs in the living room which made it very unsociable as we had to sit round and round. 2. A shelf with hanging space and a table or bench to put your suitcase on would be very handy for the loft. Everything must stand around on the floor. 3. Separate toilet will be a great asset. All negative: On our arrival we first had to defrost and clean the fridge. Ice was about 5 cm thick and the fridge was not cold at all. Caretaker may only see to it that the fridge is not tackled. Freezer compartment was right.
It was a lovely three days. House was well equipped, clean and comfortable. Thank you so much to the owners. Their directions and help made it even more special.
