Everything you need for a nice family holiday close to some of the best beaches.
It was very relaxing. The view was perfect and we saw a lot of whales and dolphins.
The unit was very clean and had everything we needed. The DSTV helped, at least we could watch the Bokke game. We saw whales every day from the porch. There are many swimming beaches within 1-5 km from the unit. The weather wasn't the best, but there was still plenty to do in and around Margate.
It's a lovely place by the sea. The view from the veranda is exceptional. It's one of the nicest places we've ever stayed. Between Uvongo and Lucien beaches. Step out across the lawn and road and you are practically at the sea with beautiful rocks. From the porch we were greeted every morning with the loveliest sunrise. There are small things that need attention: the 1st room for children would be nicer if the bedroom could also have its own door. Putting up towel rails in bathrooms more and in better places. (Not above toilet). WiFi would be a big plus. Furthermore, we had a great time and enjoyed the sea, waves and rocks.
The accommodation is really nice and was comfortable.
Lovely sea view!
It's comfortable and 2 bathrooms are sufficient. Close to all amenities. Walk 15 m across the street and are on sand and rocks by the sea. Will just put in more additional loadshedding lights. Solar or battery. Space is adequately provided. Spacious and tidy. Location and view fantastic. Parking is secure and has sufficient security gates.
We will go again.
4 Shabay is a fantastic apartment in a fantastic location with a great sea view from your front porch and the master bedroom, you can sleep peacefully with the sounds of the waves breaking every night. The apartment is very tidy and there have been many improvements made in the place that were not in the photos. So it was a wonderful surprise. The owner, Ryan, also provided wonderful service. The complex has a beautiful garden and swimming pool. The parking area is very safe. There is a TV with full DStv in the unit which is nice for the evenings when the wind was a bit bad to sit outside by a fire. There are braai facilities by the pool, but there is also a braai at the apartment that you can enjoy while looking out over the sea. Our honest experience is that 4 Shabay is a fantastic apartment and our family will definitely stay there again.

My husband and I felt right at home from the moment we entered. Everything you need. 800 meter walk to tidal pool and beach. Beautiful view of the oceanfront and sunrises. Quiet and private. Most definitely will be back. Thank you to Ryan and Gerhard for being so accommodating.
Wine glasses? Unit requires some update and complex needs fencing, so that garden furniture does not need to be carried in every night.
Your service was off the books, nothing was too much for you to help. Keep it up.
Close to beach and shops, you smell the sea in the evenings, might just pay attention to front door lock, from inside it is very difficult to lock.
We had a great stay at 4 Shabay Villa. The 180° sea view can keep you busy for hours, it is walking distance to Lucien swimming beach with plenty of fishing spot in front of the porch. The unit is better equipped than expected and very tidy. We will come back again anytime.
What a wonderful stay. We were pleasantly surprised with the view. The flat was very neat and the decor appropriate and beautiful. Ryan answered every question we had. The kitchen is very well equipped. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
