Beautiful house and garden, and the host is very friendly and helpful.
Very weak. Vehicle must sleep in the street. Room is dirty. Spiders on the walls. Braai facilities are dirty and full of dust. Incomplete cutlery in the room.
The alley way access to get into the room was smelly, the garden overgrown, the garden table and chairs needed cleaning. It was not like typical self catering places, as you had to open cupboards to get to the sink (only cold water) and another cupboard to get to the cutlery and crockery. At least it had a TV, and the bed was comfortable.
Area very central and convenient. But the room and garden need some attention.

We stayed in the bachelor pad, which has a lovely private entrance with a table and chairs under the trees for our use, and plenty of old-world charm. We were very glad about the gas stove, so we could cook during load shedding, and candles were also provided. The accommodation is very central, so just a quick drive to the wonderful market and beaches, as well as local shopping centres.
Toilet and sink leak. Vehicle practically stops in the street.
Just need a showcase so the floor does not get wet. The kitchen needs more crockery.

Lance is a very nice and helpful host. We had a very Lekka stay and will definitely come back again. And the timing was just perfect because the weather was nice and we even got to see some whales as well.
Unit is well located. Close to sea and Fernkloof. Neat and well equipped. Only the parking is along the main road if that would bother anyone.

Kitchen facilities are few.
403 On Main makes you feel at home. Our room was equipped with everything you would need in self-catering! The area is safe. On the main street, but after 7 in the evening you hardly hear a car moving. Walking distance from the sea - swimming beach is about 5 minutes' walk. Close to everything but still not in the busy part. Lance made us feel welcome. It is bigger than the pictures make it look.
There weren't any issues. We even took our dogs and were very happy with our stay. The only problem we had was the weather. Thank you to Lance for being so accommodating. I will definitely book with him again should we come out that way.
Lance is a wonderful host and made sure we were well taken care of. The bachelor pad is stunning and very well taken care of. The location is central and you can access most attractions and restaurants very easily. Will definitely be coming back!
Although the view was worth the money, the place needs attention and a good cleaning. I wanted to check if there was anything under the sofa and the amount of dust that had collected there told me that only the top was being cleaned.

We enjoyed our stay very much. A few meters walk from the beach. Enjoyed the beautiful views of the mountains. Would definitely stay there again.
The whole place could do with renovation and the garden needs tending. No pieces of furniture on the porch. Very disturbing if carpets are being vacuumed in the main house or the geyser is on.
Owner hospitable we had our own private unit with own kitchen and balcony would definitely go back again!
Friendly reception - such nice people. However, the fridge was not on - milk was sour. Will benefit from garden care, varnishing of all wooden structures and getting the general front view neat and orderly. Main house has a window and can be seen in - therefore that room must also appear neat and orderly for guests who cannot overlook it when they check in. Porches are packed with loose furniture and don't create a good impression. Not for a guesthouse. Rooibos tea can be added to the choice of tea/coffee. The building style is unique with beautiful woodwork and stained glass windows. It can be a beautiful place for a single person who only wants to spend one night, but needs urgent attention.

Very nice and clean place but needs some attention. No dish soap and dishcloth was dirty. Bathroom mats were horribly dirty and bathtub was dirty and full of marks. Toilet had dead spiders. Lots of broken tiles and it cut my foot underneath.
What you advertise is not what you get. The bathroom rugs are dirty and bugs were found on 1 of the beds between the sheets.

Excellent location with very good service.
Slept well, but only after removing the spider from the shower! Younger people won't have a problem with the stairs, but older will! The area is beautiful and close to everything if ever you need anything. Also close to whale watching spots. Excellent location even though it's in the main street.
The accommodation is good for just sleeping over, not visiting there long term.
403 on Main was an ideal location for us.
Very centrally located. The road also goes to Stanford and Goose Bay, which is a must for any tourist. Would definitely recommend the place. Although the secure parking is in the driveway and there is no fencing.
