Beautiful and safe area and lovely house and gardens. The two rooms were spotless when we arrived, but it was the small extra touches that impressed the most: hairdryers, rusks with morning coffee, a little flower on the pillows, and a bunch of lavender on the dressing table. Loadshedding was at inconvenient times during our stay, so we were provided with a gas stove, kettle and matches. Much appreciated by those in the group who can't function in the morning without coffee. We really enjoyed the stay, and will definitely go there again when in Durbanville.
Our room was very well equipped. Everything was in its place, very clean and tidy. The site was well secured and we felt very safe. We got a free breakfast on Saturday. The lapa and pool are very nice and they are there for guests to use. Thank you very much Charles and your wife for your hospitality.

We stayed a few days. It's a very peaceful environment, the rooms are comfortable and the outdoor area is very nice. Charles goes out of his way to make sure everything is right and that we are comfortable. We got there during load shedding, but Charles is prepared and the rooms also have emergency lights. The site is very safe and it didn't feel like we were in the city at all. Note that the vehicle is parked outside in the driveway - however, the area is lit and I was in no way concerned about the vehicle. It's a quiet cul-de-sac with almost no traffic. If possible, book the breakfast - delicious! Would definitely recommend them and stay there again in the future.

What a pleasant surprise to be received so hospitable and friendly late in the evening. Our flight was late and we didn't arrive at 5 on Penny until late at night. We were taken to a beautiful clean and tidy room that had everything we needed, even a microwave oven and a small fridge. When we asked where we could get something to eat so late in the evening, we were promptly served with the best information. After a day out we found a serviced room on our return in the evening. We will definitely stay here again!
The braai place with the swimming pool will surely provide a nice visit. For the next visit and in the right weather we will definitely use the pool.

Unfortunately the photo's does not do justice to the beautiful garden you walk out onto in the morning after a good nights rest. The room is truly clean and is serviced daily and coffee, tea, rusks, butter, microwave, fridge and so much more is available. The best was to drink coffee next to the swimming pool under the well planned pergola. Sheltered, protected, private, with fresh filtered water, an ashtray for someone wishing to smoke, wood, tripod pots, pans, built-in braai, soft music, radio, etc. combination. In the evenings when you arrive, a cold drink under the downlighter lights in an relaxing and soft atmosphere to discuss the day. The management is in the background and will come when you need information. The price is truly reasonable, and will go to no other guesthouse in Vierlanden, Durbanville.
