The apartments are relatively clean. It's self-catering, so you'll need almost everything. Bedding and towels are provided.
Absolutely fantastic, would definitely stay there again.
The rates were very reasonable and the location of the accommodation is at a central place with easy access to other services. The natural environment surrounding The Bridge made the stay very pleasant.
Our travel plans had to change very quickly, and Billy moved our dates up without any questions. On arrival we were met very friendly and professionally and escorted to the unit. That's where the problems come in. The whole room rotted to mustiness. The shower door is leaking water. The unit was not thoroughly cleaned at all after the previous guests left, there are long black hairs everywhere, and dust is on everything. The air cooling also rots to mold. The one room's air conditioning does not work. The sliding door does not close properly. Some of the bedding has dirty spots on it. Double bed's quality is not up to standard.
Had a nice stay. Just bring your own toilet paper, the one roll they put there for you doesn't last for the week you stay. And extra bath towels. They do not exchange dirty towels for clean towels during your stay. All week only had the step towels they provided upon our arrival. By Wednesday, the bath towels had started to smell.
We had a lovely holiday at 9 The Bridge and St Lucia. We were frustrated by the lack of cutlery and crockery for the number of people. There were only 2 beer glasses and 3 steak knives. There was also 1 broken plastic 'dining' chair, making it difficult for all 4 adults to sit comfortably (or at all) around the table. Odette's team were lovely and cleaned our apartment daily without additional charges. We found it disappointing that there were so many shortfalls considering the cost of the breakage deposit paid. Nonetheless, we made do with what we had and had a much needed and relaxing holiday.
Previous guests have asked for a potato peeler. There still isn't one.
Close to the braai area and swimming pool, very comfortable apartment.
The cutlery is already worn out and old, it can be replaced. A very lovely place to rest. Will go again in December for sure.
The sliding door did not close properly and slid off the track.
Very neat and a nice unit, well placed.
The Bridge is a well kept housing complex with all amenities available. It’s closer to every tourist destination in St Lucia. A plus side is the hippo that grazes at night!
The nature surrounding the complex and town was still very raw and undeveloped which is great for walkabouts. The pool is clean and maintained. The unit's main bedroom mattress was horrific to sleep on though, and some of the electrical outlets and appliances did not work as expected or was faulty. Some cutlery and areas of the unit also needed more attention with cleanliness.
