AAA Rose Garden Gastehuis is situated in the town of Naboomspruit/Mookgophong, located at the foot of the Swaershoek Mountains, surrounded by peaceful nature reserves and hot springs as well as the Water Mountain.

The establishment offers self-catering accommodation in 3 apartments and 3 rooms.

Each self-catering unit is equipped with a microwave, air-conditing or a fan, kitchenette and a TV with selected DStv channel.

The self-catering rooms all have en-suite bathrooms, private entrances and basic kitchenettes with cutlery.

Free Wi-Fi and breakfast is available at request. Guests also have access to communal braai facilities and a pool. We provide towels, but please bring your own swimming towels.

The property is approximately 15 km from Die Oog, Rhemardo and Lekkerrus resorts as well as the Bouncy Croc Farm.

We are only 7 km from the popular Euphoria Golf Estate and about 42 km from the Legends Golf & Safari Estate.

Safe parking is available behind a gate. Should power and water shortages occur, a generator and water tank are available.

"It was very pleasant."

Stephina made us feel very welcome, and brought us extra accessories that we had forgotten. You might put a braai "casserole" and braai tongs with the kitchen accessories, since you don't provide them in the cupboard.

Place was neat and clean. Would not recommend if staying more than 1 night. No fresh air. No aircon; it was incredibly hot. Not enough grills. Lots of people, busy all the time. No notice that laundry is not done on Sunday.

"OK, but might look at another place next time."

We did not get the unit that we booked, which we chose for the neatness. This was given to someone else. A few things need addressing. 1. The showerhead was packed with limescale, and the nozzles were brown/black where the water comes out. We used the hand shower as the shower. 2. The basin tap was loose. I can't understand how these issues are not addressed by the staff. Also, I'm not sure what look they are going for in room 8, but the brown carpets, sheets, and drapes that form the ceiling just add to the darkness of the room, which only has a kitchen window and sliding door for light. It was extremely dark in the room. The "headboard" that protrudes about 15cm over the bed does not help; our feet were constantly fighting with the sleeper couch, which needs to rest against the bottom of the bed. The bathroom is through wooden cupboard doors that don’t stay open, and one of the plugs is loose in the wall. The absence of signage around does not uplift the image of the place. It really can be a nice place but needs a lot of attention to detail.

"It was exactly what I needed."

I was here for the rugby festival and the accommodation was just down the road from the school. This made it very easy to get to the school and back each day. The room was comfortable and the WiFi was excellent. I will definitely make use of the accommodation again.

The guest house was a base for sleeping and dressing this weekend, but I could easily stay there longer. The service was friendly, yet professional and we really can't complain about the cleanliness! The parking area is neat and sufficient although our fellow guests got a bit lost on the road. I suspect clearer marking would be of value.

The only issue was during loadshedding and the girl could not get the generator to work so we had to go without electricity, it was a bit frustrating.

Very safe and private. Secure parking under a cover and room was very neat and clean. Value for money.

We needed a place to sleep in a hurry and Rose Garden was willing to help, but the accommodation was disappointing. The neighbors were noisy and the toilet leaked and there was no door between the room and bathroom.

"Our accommodation was definitely more than we had hoped for. The space was more than adequate and the bathroom was to die for. "

Such a peaceful tranquil place to stay and it was super convenient and within walking distance to all the shops and where all the activities were taking place. It was super clean and Annabel is an amazing host! Always ready with a friendly smile and some interesting conversation. We will definitely be back in the near future. We also met some of the loveliest people that were also staying there.

Pillow had a miff smell to it, the head of the bunk bed is less than 1 m away from the toilet. Water pressure was an issue, but there was enough to shower, otherwise it was no too bad.

The atmosphere is not very peaceful because it is very cramped. Ironing in front of the door of the booked room bothers, although everyone is friendly.

Was friendly, neat, clean. Was very happy. Only small thing was a light (to do with TV and DStv links) that burned all night, and unfortunately bothered. Otherwise, it would have been a very good overnight stop for us, and I would definitely recommend it if staying there again.

I can really recommend Rose Garden to anyone who needs to stay in the Naboomspruit/Mookgophong area. The town itself is tranquil and currently undergoing renovations. There is lots to see and do in the area, lots of game farms and other tourist attractions. Worth the visit.

The owner is very hospitable and accommodating. Nice breakfast at an affordable price. The place is in a quiet area so it is just the nightly sounds that can be heard. Bathrooms are new and modern and the rooms are neat and clean. Will definitely recommend.

Everything was without a glitch. Friendly reception and the unit was clean and neat. Very affordable. Delicious, substantial breakfast. Had car trouble the next day and we were able to book the same place without any trouble. The owner allowed us to stay another day until our transport arrived without charging extra. Will recommend this place anytime.
