I was disappointed that there was no water facility in the dining area. Couldn’t fill the kettle or wash a plate. No tea or coffee. Only rooibos or sachets sugar, coffee, milk powder. The shower has green algae in the corners. Didn’t see a hostess arriving or leaving. Found key in a box on the sidewalk. Bed/pillows were comfortable.
The place was well furnished, clean and we were received kindly. We all had a good rest and felt safe at all times. Much more value than it cost.

Neat large room with air conditioning which is quite important if you stay overnight in Beaufort West. Check-in was easy and there is covered parking inside the yard. Small kitchen nook makes it easy to whip up a light meal. The garden is really beautiful and you can relax outside and even have a barbecue. There is also a swimming pool (well not sure if guests can use it).

Aanblom guest house offered reasonable and neat overnight accommodation, with a friendly and helpful hostess. My dog was also welcome and comfortable. We stayed in the self-catering cottage, and slept peacefully. I would recommend the place to other travelers. Only the master bedroom has air conditioning, and unfortunately the living room air conditioning was out of order.

One of the cutest places where I have spent a night on a trip to the Free State or back to the Cape. We were also privileged to experience one of the most intense thunderstorms that we have not experienced in the Cape for the past 30 years. We stared at the lightning for hours.

We stayed in Die Boord. The 2-bedroom unit is stylishly and comfortably furnished. Free WiFi, bottled water and delicious biscuits made us feel very welcome.

Now I know what an Arab feels like when he arrives at an oasis after a long day through the desert on a camel's back! After a long drive of 13 hours from Pretoria, we arrived tired and with sore bodies at our oasis, called Aandblom Guest House. What a fantastic place, it was absolutely worth every cent. The reception was so friendly, the place very neat, the pool a huge bonus and the location is in a very quiet part of town. Thank you very much, Aandblom. We would go back there anytime. We actually wish we could have stayed longer. Als was so clean and tidy and of course beautiful! Anyone would do themselves a favor to spend the night there. Our little dog was also welcome and there was plenty of room for him to play! Everything was thought of, coffee and biscuits, cold water and ice, peaceful sleep, candles in case the power goes out. Outstanding!

It is difficult to describe the word 'delicious'. At Aandblom Gastehuis it's just fun! Everything just feels like home, so home that you can kick off your shoes and walk barefoot.

Clean and tidy. Our most important requirement was air conditioning. The staff member set it to 16° and then immediately left again. We immediately went out to eat. After we return we discover it is like 27°C and the small air conditioning does not make it cold. It was 37°C during the day. So we sweated our way through the night! The porch light shone through the glass pane. Only the next day after the owner called us, she said there was some page we had to turn over to read it. Will not sleep there again.

Wonderful hostess, very clean accommodation, love the decor AND they are pet friendly, what a plus. Would definitely recommend and would book again if I am in the vicinity. Just a comment, maybe add a bit more light outside and alternative arrangements with key and remote for guests leaving in early morning hours... but that will not stop me from giving them full marks or potentially returning.

It was very nice to see Selme-Louise again after 10 years and to meet Tickey. Their entrepreneurial spirit, initiative and creativity pleasantly surprised and impressed us.
