We had a fantastic holiday at Abaco - the room was very comfortably furnished with the balcony literally opening onto the canal, and the view was beautiful! The host and hostess were very friendly and helpful. We entertained friends at the common braai place - also right next to the canal - and it was a delicious braai that was enjoyed by all. We were also provided with ice and ice containers by the hostess. During our stay we also took advantage of the Abaco boat trip offered by the host, and our friends accompanied us. It was a fantastic ride with breathtaking views of all the little bridges and nooks and crannies of the canal and the houses built on the banks. Really recommend it to anyone who wants to have a good time and sleep on the Marina Martinique!

Close to the beach to go for a walk, but within the marina also wonderfully safe and beautiful to go for a walk or jog. Although the deck's view was so peaceful and beautiful, that you stretch your coffee time to as long as possible. The waterfowl and tranquility of the water is what I will remember and good hospitality.
We enjoyed the stay so much. The host was very friendly and helpful. The room was neat and comfortable. The boat trip through the canals was a highlight. It was also welcome that there was coffee, tea, biscuits and milk on our arrival. The view of the water from our bed was also a plus!

We had a really nice stay and it's a beautiful place. Bernard and his team are so friendly and immediately made us feel welcome. They made sure we were well looked after and everything was so nice and tidy and equipped with everything one could need. We had a beautiful view of the canal where we could enjoy boating with Bernard and the children could swim and canoe. It is safe and there is a play area for small children within the area where we stayed. It was very tasty and we would definitely recommend them.

The view was breathtaking. No dust, provision to prepare own food. Suitable if you just want to eat out. Kettle, microwave oven and fridge are provided.
I really have no complaints. It was so nice and peaceful. And it's so safe that people don't even lock their doors. Unfortunately the weather was bad, but we had fun watching Netflix and YouTube on the TV. No load shedding because there is an inverter. Bernhard is a very pleasant person and if you are lucky, you might just hear beautiful piano playing next door. 11 out of 10

Your town is beautiful, full of art and detail, with the best places to eat. We really enjoyed safe beaches and walking places! The big spoiled bottle of Curry Pineapple was lip-smacking - you made my day!

We really enjoyed our short getaway. This unit was very comfortable and surprisingly warm considering it is on the water in the middle of winter. We felt very safe and would love to visit again in summer. Probably not ideal for those with toddlers as this unit is open to an unsecured waters edge. Lovely sunset to be had in winter! Thank you! PS. Bernhard had really good braai wood at a very reasonable price. Thank you Bernhard, you set a very good example in this regard.

Awesome place with incredible views, neat, clean, and spacious. The owner is kind and always attentive. Showed me and my partner around on a boat trip and showed us the scenery. It has a braai area, and they gave us extra parking for my motorcycle. Easy 10/10.
Need to install a sink in the kitchen, they do supply water, but when it is finished you have to get some in the toilet. And you also have to wash dishes in the toilet sink. That's the only problem.
The room has everything one needs to spend the night. The view from the room is breathtaking and enchanting. The owners went out of their way to make it convenient and comfortable for us. The boat trip was a highlight, giving us an hour of enjoyment on the water on the canal at such a reasonable price per person.

We had a very nice peaceful holiday and rested very well in Jeffreys. I would certainly recommend Abaco to anyone. Bernhard's hospitality was top notch and he has a solar system and water tanks, so the load shedding didn't bother us at all and we could really just relax and rest well. Looking forward to our next visit in Jeffreys by Bernhard.

It is so much better and more beautiful than in the pictures. You really get value for your money. You're by the water with a very nice deck. We were even offered a boat trip. There were treats such as tea, coffee, biscuits and chocolates. Uncle Bernhard even offered to help carry our bags. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely use Abaco again if we look for accommodation in Jeffrey's.
Only drawback is the access route with less attractive high-density housing on both sides.

We initially wanted St. Going to Francis Bay, but this is definitely a much better choice. So clean and tidy security complex. The boat trips that Bernard offers are an unforgettable experience. Good places to eat and necessary groceries are close by, so you don't have to drive into Jeffreys Bay. Quick breakfast packs were also put out.

The location is great. If you are someone who likes silence and occasionally seeing/hearing people, then this is the place. It's also close to central Jeffreys Bay and also very close to the beach. The house is located north and does not get the regular daily winds. Host and wife are friendly and make you feel very much at home.
We had the loveliest weekend at our "opi water pozzie". Quiet evenings on the deck with a glass in hand. Lovely time around the fire with new friends. Bernhard and Karen are the loveliest down-to-earth host and wife, and made sure we didn't lack for anything during our stay.

The place could do with a stove, pan, reason being it's self-catering and we brought food. Could not eat most of the food we brought with: eggs , viennas and savoury items. But otherwise very nice place.

The guards at the estate's entrance were a bit slow, the gate code didn't work and every time a new guard had a lot of questions and caused a hold up. But the stay itself was great.

I can’t fault the venue it delivered and more. Comfortable bed. Smart TV, good cell reception. Very prettily decorated and plenty of towels. The fridge had fruit and yoghurt and the coffee section had rusks and muesli. The hosts went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and even offered me a designated driver service to a wedding reception. They have a canal boat too which is very much part of the pret in the Marina. Can’t wait to go back again.

There was a good atmosphere. You definitely get value for your money! The boat ride was amazing and full of spirit - we are so looking forward to visiting again. Everything is neat and feels so luxurious. The water is literally a stone's throw away from your room and you wake up with the most beautiful view. There is a nice cozy braai place right next to your room. 100% recommended.
Maybe a small kitchen should be installed in some of the units.
