I booked the place last weekend for my daughter and her friend for a surprise, I agreed with the owner in advance regarding the generators and water tanks as per advertisement and owner confirmed that it is so. The generators were not put into use at all during load shedding and water was very scarce. The ladies were very kindly welcomed on arrival but feel that privacy is not respected.
Uncle Roger and Aunt Yvonne are very friendly and helpful. It is located in a quiet residential area, but not too far from the town center and the Vaal River. It is very peaceful, with a nice braai area. The rooms are very neat and clean.

Hosts were excellent, made sure I had plenty of tea, sugar and milk. Abelia has 2 generators which are used during load-shedding and the hosts kept me informed of the load-shedding schedule. They provide botted water for drinking and tea/coffee, and offer advice on where to eat in town.
