8 guests' feedbackAwful experience, after they confirmed that we could check out slightly later due to my daughter participating in a marathon in Oudtshoorn. They went into our rooms without permission and packed all our things. We could not find anything and spent ages trying to find jewellery, etc.
The breakfast was first class and service was excellent overall. Just a shame the shower head struggled to get us decently wet with too small an adjustment, which refused to be changed! Especially since the water temperature was difficult to regulate between hot and cold! The sink hot tap was loose and could have started leaking with all the back and forth movement when opening and closing it? We had to spend the cold night on two single beds, but paid for a double bed! Other than that, there are no complaints - the garden is beautiful and reflects tranquility. Would like to recommend the guest house, but for the price I expected somewhat better, no maintenance issues. Thank you nevertheless, we rested well and felt welcome!
Biggest problem: no generator or inverter.
Siska and her staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and the nice chat with Siska and the staff were very nice. You see us again. Thank you, you made us feel like it was our home.
Step back in time and enjoy the garden that has charmed people for decades. Clean, tidy and a beautiful place.
Adley House is definitely recommended. Friendly, comfortable room, tidy, and the garden is beautiful. All in all we had a wonderful weekend in Oudtshoor.
Absolutely great service. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The rooms are beautiful and incredibly clean. Beautiful garden and so close to everything and for us a safe haven. The most delicious breakfast. Overwhelmingly peaceful and beautiful. Thank you very much for your hospitality. We do it again.
