The aircon was broken in our room but they were very kind to give us a different room which was even better than the one we had booked and they allowed us to use both of them for duration of the visit. We prepared our meals in one and we spent the night in the other. Very friendly staff!
This was the second time we visited Africa Spirit Game Lodge and we will only want to go back again and again.
Friendly and helpful staff. Small, peaceful lodge where nature's sounds dominate, and not human noise. Beautiful private places where you can have fun around the fire.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay - and went away relaxed and far more knowledgeable about the bush. This all came down to our hosts, who went out of their way to accommodate our every wish.

We do not supply meals at the restaurant for self-catering guests. The rate for these units are for the accommodation only and no game drive.
The paths are well-lit and connect the chalets to the main lodge. The main lodge features a comfortable and relaxed dining room, cosy lounge, bar, open fireplace attached to the lodge and a swimming pool with a thatched gazebo, offering our guest a welcome retreat after a day in the African bush.
The meals are your typical South African style which ensures that you will never go hungry and will enjoy every bite that is carefully prepared by our cooks. Guests can spend time relaxing in their own privacy or indulge in any of the activities offered in our area at own expenses.
On offer is a morning- and afternoon game drive which will allow you to get close to Africa’s wildlife in an open vehicle with a trained guide who will not only ensure your safety but who will guarantee a wildlife experience that will capture your imagination. No self-drives are allowed.
Manyoni Private Game Reserve is an endangered species reserve of 24 000 hectares. It was recently proclaimed as a nature reserve and received international recognition for the introduction of 28 black rhino in 2005. This Big 5 reserve has over 70 mammal species and among them are elephant, lion, white and black rhino, buffalo, leopard, wild dog, spotted hyena, brown hyena, cheetah, African wildcat, Caracal, black back jackal, giraffe, zebra, blue wildebeest, nyala, impala, common reedbuck, warthog, waterbuck, bushpig, red and grey duiker, steenbuck, bush buck, mountain reedbuck, ostrich and diverse birdlife of over 450 species.
