It was a good sleepover. Very clean only white linen! Thank you, I will come again.
It came across as if they weren't prepared for our check in. We have braaid the Friday night without any lights. The kitchen wasn't properly equipped. There was no amenities for young children and there is no dam as advertised.
Had an excellent stay there. It sits in a nice location close to a lot of activities and places to go see. Service is good, had no problem.
Place is a bit smaller than expected. Relatively far out of George, about 20 km from Garden Route Mall.

Near the strawberry farm, a bit out of the hustle and bustle of the town, friendly welcome.
The bathroom light did not work, but was fixed immediately. The boiler was broken, but was quickly repaired. The cutlery and glasses were not full, and parking was allocated, but someone else had parked on it. One night we had no parking at all.
The DSTV didn't work, but was so tired, it didn't bother.
The fridge was dirty, inside and out. The floor next to the fridge is just as dirty. TV extremely poor reception. Only TV 1 & 2. The room didn't smell fresh old smoke? One of the guests was sitting on the patio and chain smoking, despite notices/signs saying: No smoking on patio!

Was a very nice place. The right place if you want to avoid the big crowd of holiday goers. And still within driving distance of everything a vacation can offer.
On arrival there was no one at reception, the fridge was not switched on in accommodation on arrival, one door did not have a lock and could not close, safe was out of order, cleaning services pathetic, struggled with towels every day, last day no toilet paper no, management was not involved at all, there is no maintenance in accommodation, would not recommend.
It was quiet and peaceful.
Will stay there again in the future.

The accommodation was really value for money. Apartment accommodation was neat, clean and well furnished. Only problem was that nobody was there to receive us. Had to walk around for 20 minutes to find someone just to learn that the lady had taken the staff away. She should have made sure when we were checking in and just told us that she wouldn't be there.
Definitely worth it! Clean, nice linen, and delicious breakfast.
African Sun Guest House is a little gem, situated just outside of George - close to Redberry Farm - home of one of the largest Hedge Mazes in Africa. The flat we stayed in was very clean and tastefully decorated with a nautical theme. A few items of crockery and cutlery in the kitchen could do with replacing and there weren't enough bath towels for us all, but on the whole it was a lovely, relaxing and peaceful place to stay. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family as a place to stop over en route to George or another area close by. Thank you for a great break away.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the staff was friendly and accommodating.
My fiancé and I spent a night at African Sun Guest House, and were disappointed to see what we got for the price we paid. We arrived at 3pm to find an empty office. We had to find our key and room ourselves. The room was tidy and bed was comfortable, although not soundproof at all. We could hear what the guests next to us were doing and could even hear them snoring throughout the evening. The fan in the roof also needs replacing, very unstable and looks like it will fall off at any moment. The next morning there was no hot water, so we had to take a cold shower. We wanted to inform the office, but again no one was on duty. I would like to add that if attention is paid to a few things in the room, guests can sleep comfortably and comfortably, but they should certainly look at their prices for what you get. For the price we paid there are much better options to choose from.

A quiet, beautiful area to relax in. Very friendly management and staff. The beautiful large garden is ideal for children to play outside and the nice long porch where you can escape with a cup of coffee is a winner.
It is a very nice, neat place. Hospitable people in a peaceful and beautiful environment.
We had a lovely stay. The surrounding area was very nice too.
