42 guests' feedbackI had a very nice stay, thank you. My vehicle was safe and I felt safe at all times. Could open the room door without feeling unsafe. It was so peaceful and quiet and I slept very well. The room was clean and comfortable. It was nice for me to meet the puppy when I came back from the course. He/she just didn't want to visit me.
Service was friendly and helpful. Fast, without any problems. Area is clean and tidy.
On reception we were shown where to stay. The reception was helpful in showing us where we could go to let the learners relax and eat.
We stayed overnight on the way to Kgalagadi, centrally located close to restaurants. Very neat and clean and beds slept well.

Accommodation is very neat and clean. We did get a rain storm that knocked out the power during the night and the roof in the room leaked onto the bed so the bed was wet. The owner of the guest house did not try to make up for the inconvenience we experienced. So the customer service is not very good.

This is a five star self catering unit with the best quality furniture and a kitchen with excellent quality cutlery. The owners are friendly and very helpful. You immediately become part of the family. Nearby is a new mall and MediClinic. A wine route and the Augrabian Waterfall can be visited.
Booked as B&B but on arrival was told not, phoned the website who sorted it out and we were refunded for breakfast not provided.
This really is a home away from home. The units are put together with taste, planning and love. I will definitely recommend Alimento to friends and family, hope we can visit again.

I would prefer there to be a canopy or shadenet for vehicles. It is very hot in summer at Upington.
Alimento's units are extremely well equipped, very clean and tidy with beautiful finishes everywhere. We were met very hospitably and immediately felt welcome. Would definitely recommend even for a longer period as the units are so fully equipped!
This was our second time staying at Alimento, and like the previous visit, we were very satisfied with our stay and the service. The only negative thing we can mention is that we didn't have hot water and the owners were already on vacation, so we couldn't report it. We had to take a cold shower, but luckily it was so hot that it didn't bother us too much. It remains a very "nice" and tidy guest house. I will definitely stay there again.

Although we only stayed one night, Alimento Guest House was the perfect place. The owners are friendly and hospitable and make you feel right at home. The unit was clean and tidy and we were very grateful for the air conditioner. The unit is spacious and we could relax with ease. The kitchenette is well appointed with everything needed. We would definitely recommend Alimento Guest House and if we cross our road with Upington one day, we would love to stay here again.

Stayed and slept very well.
December is not the best time to tour through the Northern Cape's heat waves, but with airconditioning and a fridge in our room we could withstand most of the heat and keep our cool drinks cold. I would recommend Alimento for an overnight stay. My only challenge was the driveway up to the guesthouse which is more suitable for 4x4-bakkies and Kalahari vehicles than for my low-set city car.
