From our arrival to our departure, Abrie was an absolutely capable and thoughtful host. The apartment has everything you could need and the beautiful, quiet and peaceful surroundings were just what we needed for a week of rest and relaxation. We will definitely want to use the facilities again in the future. However, the WIFI is sometimes a bit fickle and does not cover the entire premises. (A small gas grill on the upper deck might also be welcome and unique to be able to take full advantage of the beautiful view during a beautiful sunset) But above all - Abrie, keep it up. You have a gem of a place!

It was nice to drink coffee every day on the balcony with the most beautiful view! Could rest, because it's quiet and the house has everything you need. Won't stay anywhere else again if we go that direction. Altelekker by the Sea is a nice place!

The apartment is ideal for 6 people. There is a good sea view and the unit has been furnished and decorated with good taste and expertise. There is also secure parking that can comfortably accommodate two vehicles and a pram. We will definitely book there again.
Needed a place to stay that was central to a trail run series we were doing. This was perfect. Nice hot showers, comfortable beds, perfect amount of room for the 5 of us.

This was like our own little house by the sea. The apartment sits behind the owners' house, but the sea is visible from one deck. The place is either freshly painted or just super cleanly maintained. Very spacious with more than enough sleeping, visiting and dining space. We will definitely want to come and live at Altelekker again. Thank you, you guys!

Was a rushed business trip and we did not spend much time at Altelekker by die See - basically overnight but very comfortable accommodation.

We just can't get enough of the hospitality we received from the owners. The first thing you notice when you walk in is how clean the place is, which was important to us as a group. Altelekker by the sea had all the facilities we could need and the view is fantastic. All problem we had was that we booked for too short a time, but next time we know better! We are already looking forward to the next visit!

Dis een van daai "moet nie vir die ander vertel van die ongelooflike mooi/lekker plek nie" plekke. Ons is baie hartlik ontvang en het sommer dadelik tuis gevoel. Ons gasheer het ook vir ons baie inligting gegee van plekke om te besoek. Die plek is skoon en netjies met als wat jy benodig om lekker te kuier. Ons het heerlik op die stoep gekuier en die ongelooflike sonsondergange bewonder. Ons sal beslis weer gaan.

We thoroughly enjoyed the weekend. Plekkie was furnished with everything and more. Felt so at home and relaxed. The silence at night was so calming with no sounds of vehicles in the background. The balcony with the view of the sea was so beautiful. One felt safe with lots of privacy. Two bathrooms are tops. We were so sorry we couldn't stay longer, but next time we will definitely stay longer. Will drive the distance to Mossel Bay anytime for Altelekker by the Sea. Recommended it to anyone who wanted to hear it. We will surely come again soon.
We had a wonderful stay. The braai facilities are well sheltered from the wind. Sleeping facilities are cool and create a peaceful atmosphere! Living area is spacious. Very nice view from the master bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything and even more if you need it! We will definitely use Altelekker again.

This is really the best place we stayed on our holiday. It's not on the beach, but definitely worth the money and effort. The place inside was spotless, even neat! Outside is a nice garden with the outdoor barbecue. The service was good, we were not disturbed at all, and were also helped immediately if we lacked something. All good by the Sea I would recommend to friends, family and anyone!

We arrived at Altelekker late in the afternoon and left early in the morning, but we really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evening listening to the sea. The place was very neat, everything was clean. Friendly service and I can definitely recommend it.

The time was just too short to get to everything that Mossel Bay has to offer, but we enjoyed the Buffalo Rally, as well as all the nice places to eat that we visited.
Uncle Abrie was friendly and helpful at all times and did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Dana Bay is centrally located and close to so many other beautiful towns and things to do. Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful! I would advise anyone to feel free to go there.
