13 guests' feedbackThe outside room, bedroom 4 with double bed/sofa's mattress was so thin and the room was full of mosquitoes. The house was full of spiders.
The house is very cozy and comfortable. Superb facilities. Home away from home. Will definitely visit again. Thanks to Richard our host, who was very attentive.
Needs braai tongs. Braai area needs a proper light and the sand around the braai is unpleasant. Maybe a few of those pebbles would help with the sand situation. Need steak knives - cutlery not in good condition and no decent knives. Maybe also an additional shower in the bath at the top bathroom.
Richard, our host, and his daughter Louise were extremely easy to communicate with. Louise was waiting fir us to open up and show us around. The house is very spacious with everything we needed to have a wonderful weekend away. The garden was fenced, which gave the kids and our dog plenty of safe, outdoor space. We had a lovely stay and I would highly recommend Anchor Drift to anybody who wanted to have a relaxing holiday in St Francis Bay.
We were received by a very friendly owner Richard. We basically only slept at the house, as we spent our days & evenings in the company of my Canadian relatives that rented a house on the canals.
Neat and clean accommodation with all the facilities for self-catering. Very quiet area, close to shops and beach.
It was amazing at Anchor Drift. Peaceful and the owners were awesome. The kids really enjoyed the big yard.

The town and the house impressed us! It is very nice to have a house by the sea where there is a boundary wall that keeps the children safe from the cars. We had a great barbecue with the rest of our family (we were about 20 people) and it still didn't feel small. I also forgot a computer there and the hostess helped me very nicely to get it back as well. I would happily recommend Anchor Drift to others.
We had a lovely stay at Anchor Drift. The owners were lovely, and they informed us of the load shedding schedule upon our arrival, which we did not think about due to our travelling. Everything we needed, was there, it felt like home. It truly was an amazing stay.
Had a good time with friends in this lovely spacious house. Hostess very friendly and ensured that we had a lovely, relaxing weekend.
We were received very kindly by the hostess and everything about the house was explained to us. The accommodation met our expectations and everyone had their own room. All criticism we have had is that the barbecue area is not well lit. We had a great stay and recommend Anchor Drift with great confidence.
