Very nice place and big with lovely caretakers.
We were a large family group and the house catered to all our needs and had everything we required. We also had quick and easy access to the different beaches and shops in the area. The hosts were very friendly and very helpful towards us. However, we had lots of rain over the festive period, and would have loved to be able to sit on the deck upstairs without worrying about getting wet. Would suggest a partial shade cover over the balcony so that it can be utilised in all weather conditions.
Very good communication ahead of time with the owner. Friendly reception with the ever helpful Uncle Frans and his wife. We went home in the Whale Watcher section and the name truly lived up to it. Whales were migrating from the Mozambican coast and one could watch the whales' male whales in the mornings from the balcony with a cup of coffee until late afternoon by the barbecue fire. Two bathrooms each with a bath and shower are truly comfortable. We used it as a base to explore the South Coast each day but many times just walked down to the rocks which took about a minute. It met our needs perfectly and we will definitely want to go to Angelfish again in the future. If both units are rented together, two or more families can stay together on a plot at a very affordable price. I can confidently recommend Angelfish.
The rocks at low tide were a plus.
We had the most welcome stay in the Whale Watcher section of the home. Very clean and all the necessary amenities were there. Close to Margate/Ramsgate/Shelley Beach/St Micheal's, etc and not once did we feel unsafe in the area. Will definitely visit again.
The apartment does not have an oven and it is not mentioned anywhere on the advertisement. The first night (Wednesday) there was no hot water and after Bongi was contacted, early in the afternoon, she only came to check in the evening and then said she couldn't do anything, we had to wait until the next day. We didn't have hot water until Saturday night. We were brought a furnace that kept tripping the power and the alarm kept going off as well. No help was offered with any of the problems. Laundry may not be washed by yourself, it must be given to Bongi, because the owners do not want guests to use the washing machine etc. doesn't work Every time Bongi is contacted it says how busy she is and she can't help us right now. She will also, when she arrives at the apartment, walk through and tell you how to do things. I will definitely not set foot at Angelfish again or recommend it to anyone.
Uvongo is our second home.
In one word: The place gave that wow feeling when we arrived. Super neat and clean. Bongi was nice and friendly and explained everything about the alarm and was available every time I needed her. Thanks Bongi. Definitely a recommendation for anyone looking for tranquility. Thanks Billy.
The house is very clean and tidy and is equipped with everything you need. It is also very centrally located. We would also like to say a big thank you to Bongi, she is very friendly and likes to help where she can. We had a great time staying there and will definitely go again. A little attention can be paid to the house, but nothing too serious or insurmountable.
Everything was neat and clean and had all of the necessary facilities to be able to feel at home.
The people we dealt with were accommodating. The home was nice and clean. The safety was a bit of an issue.
House was very clean and neat and we stayed enjoyed the stay. Braai area just needs a roof for when it rains. Tiles to the front door are also very slippery when it rains and we have fallen a few times. Furthermore, it was perfect! Bongi (cleaner) was very helpful and helped where needed. She's a real superstar!

A washing machine and dishwasher can come in handy.
The balcony is a winner with a built-in braai. Here we had a good time and saw whales as well as sometimes the sardine run and the many seabirds and other fish that it attracts. However, you need to use good binoculars to be able to observe all the detail. We really appreciated the security, the alarm kept our minds at ease. Perhaps the only negative comment is the fact that the shower taps and the water flow do not work properly. Otherwise we really enjoyed it. Thank you very much.

We had a lovely holiday and would definitely stay there again. The place was very clean and tidy. Thank you very much to Bongi, because she is really friendly and helps where she can. The place is walking distance from a quiet quiet beach where our children enjoyed playing. There is no hedge or fence on the gate, but when you are on vacation, it is the last thing that will bother you. You can just enjoy yourself and there is a nice lawn on which the children can run and play if you are not at the beach. The house is divided into two, but you don't even notice it because there is more than enough space. Our 3 children call it their house by the sea! I really recommend Angelfish Holiday Home.
I would recommend Angelfish anytime. My family and I spent a wonderful 6 days there. It is centrally located near the sea and shopping centres. The apartment has everything that makes your stay just as comfortable as your own home.
Rear safety gate is rusted and offers no protection. Tiles on porches very slippery, it will cost the owner dearly if someone slips and falls. The braai area lacks a roof, if it rains you have to go up and down on the slippery floor and you get wet from the rain while you braai and a.g.v. that there is no roof it rains at the front door. The door that separates neighbors from each other is too thin. We could clearly hear what our neighbors were doing and saying and the 1 room roof fan made a terrible noise. A good idea would be to put in a swimming pool and put up awnings at the braai and front door and an awning for the 1 apartment. My car had to stand in the sun all the time.
The unit is very well located and very tidy. Will definitely want to go there again.

I really enjoyed our stay, it was neat and clean with all the necessary facilities. We went as a family (7 adults and 7 children, including twin babies), and the two houses that can also be used as a unit were ideal, everyone could hang out, but you still had privacy too. It is conveniently located and close to all the popular beaches. We only had one problem, and that was ants in the one toilet and bathroom, but it's not insurmountable.
Find the place very clean and tidy. Rained a lot and there is no place to hang out outside in that case, no roof or anything so you can't barbecue or anything, have to be inside all the time and also no barbecue or anything like that. DSTV is also limited and not full package, so no sports. Not enough parking except on grass, we were 2 vehicles.
We really had the best holiday ever, at the best holiday home possible.
Brindle Bass has plenty of space and is the ideal venue for a large group. The place was also very neat and very well equipped for everything you might need. The alarm also provided a sense of security. We will definitely want to use the place again in the future.

Already in the planning phase to go again early next year. It is definitely a place to go and relax. The environment is very quiet and security is of good quality. It almost feels like you are at home, the atmosphere is just much calmer
