Booked the honeymoon suite - why would one have 2 double beds? The rooms smelled damp and terrible. Many rooms have nice views, but this suite looks into a wall. Several things broken in the room and bathroom. Not even a bag of tea or sweetener. The beds were old and sagging. There are many B&Bs in the area that offer much lower prices and better quality.
Stay was lovely, but we did feel that the hotel staff could have at least silenced the other residents, who were making noise in the corridors after 1 hour, and we couldn't sleep, the same upon our arrival, we have rooms on the 4th floor, and in the entrance there were two sofas with a small table inside, and they were lying there sleeping, it really creates a bad impression.
Very satisfied, value for money. Will definitely stay here again.
The hotel service was of good standard despite a bit of noise from some guests.
The accommodation was surprisingly luxurious and met all standards. The only issue was the dinner that I ordered, bit of a disappointment. I ordered fish and chips, but there were no potatoes. The portion of fish was tiny and not cleaned properly - I didn't eat it. The salad that replaced the chips was delicious. I attended a conference that included lunch. The food at the conference was outstanding. I will definitely recommend Apollo Hotel.

I wish breakfast-time could be extended. Exclusion of breakfast prices on online fees was disappointing for me.
I am so glad to say that my stay at the Apollo has been just pleasant! A well oiled establishment, indeed. I find the staff to be most helpful and super friendly. Very knowledgeable of the area as well. I have certainly informed all my friends, colleagues and family of my experience at the hotel. Definite recommendation! The stay over pleasantly superseded my expectations.
