Big neat room. Friendly and good service. Value for money.
Initially booked one room with multiple beds for our adult family. When we arrived, the ground floor rooms were not booked, so the hostess allowed us to use the whole house. We felt at home. The hostess was very friendly, accommodating, and non-intrusive. We had a great weekend. Thank you.
Had a picnic down at the river and Lizzie went out of her way to help with blankets, glasses etc. They are pet friendly!
Because of other guests, our stay was unpleasant, so much so that we didn't sleep over the second night.

Accommodation was clean and tidy. Very nice overnight stay.
The rooms inside the house are very nicely done and the kitchen well equipped. It worked very easily that the kitchen cupboards were labeled with the contents of each cupboard. The garden was beautiful and we had a great time on the porch. The outside rooms still need attention. The pink/purple room's color is just too restless for my taste. General maintenance inside and out needs to be looked after otherwise it will soon become a big expense to do everything. Gas stove's back plate tripped the electricity and Werner was informed accordingly. Weber was also not in working order. Overall we had a great time.
The room was neat and comfortable, but the kettle had to be placed on the floor to be used, and they do not give milk, only Cremora. There was no hot water, so I had to have a cold shower. I was emailed a scary indemnity form to sign before booking in, which I refused without having seen the place first. Not very happy.
The rooms are breathtakingly beautiful and the staff extremely helpful and friendly, it is the perfect getaway for silence and rest. Aqua View Riverside is just one of those places that you will always want to return to because it is so beautiful and everything is handled so professionally and amazingly. I will definitely refer people there.

Aqua View Riverside Guesthouse is definitely a place that I will visit again. It is very close to everything, around the corner and you are in the main street and the river is very close and had a great walk next to the water. We received a kind welcome and everything was explained to us. It was quiet and relaxing. The time we spent at Aqua View Riverside Guesthouse we enjoyed and appreciated. Great people, great place, I like the total privacy at this place.
Unfortunately, no one received us at Aqua View Riverside B&B. The owner gave me directions on how to obtain the key which was locked in a safe. I was also disappointed in the size of the room. The bedding was clean but very used. Sheets were frayed at seams and folds. The springs of the beds had been very uncomfortable. Mattresses were slept through. One of the coffee cups had been "chipped". There was no coffee in the room. Only tea. Towels were not good quality. Quite disappointing. Mirror in bathroom cracked. Bath and sink not up to standard for a guest house. River front is completely inaccessible from guest house although there are signs to the river that lead you to a wire. I also suggest changing the name. It indicates that it is a bed and breakfast guest house. However, this is not the case.
Peaceful and centrally located great value for money! Staff super friendly and efficient. Was able to kick back and relax completely, while sitting and reading on the balcony, listening to the river or down in the garden among the trees and birds.
The room was clean and tidy and we were allowed to leave later on the Sunday, for which we were very grateful. I played golf. The place is right across from the Parys golf course, and was able to take a quick shower there before we had to drive. All criticism I have is that the place - our room - needs some TLC. Towel racks that are pulling out of the wall, doors that are jamming and so on. There is also no air conditioner, but we knew that when we booked.

Too few facilities, no plates or microwave to heat food. The water in the shower was weak.
Just one thing. The bed we slept on is very old. We had body aches. Told the landlady about it, but it is the owner's responsibility to see to it. Our room's shower head is broken. Bathroom door does not close 100%.
Hospitable reception and we were well informed regarding the restaurants and attractions. The house is located in a very peaceful area close to the river. Room was very convenient and met all our needs. The lovely armchair was a bonus. If needed we will definitely make use of this facility again.
Beautiful house, but needs maintenance. It looks tired. The worst was the lack of bathroom goodies. Rather ask R450 and supply the goods. Everyone does that to make the accommodation more comfortable. It's clean and neat. Pity one can't get closer to the river. Aqua View is misleading - you only see trees and plants, no river. Would also be a good idea to offer a light breakfast, even if just a fruit salad or coffee/rusks from an old lady in Parys. A cowbell is needed to locate the landlady when you want to leave.
Lynn was an excellent hostess and we felt right at home. It was peaceful and I would definitely recommend this place.
Reception was very hospitable without any hassles. I had a lovely stay and if needed in future I would stay there again. Very relaxing after a busy day in Parys. The house is very peaceful and spacious.

Our stay at Aqua View Guest House was comfortable and the weekend passed "undisturbed". No one bothered us and we could come and go as we pleased. The guest house is just around the corner from the bustling Bree Street where numerous antique shops and coffee shops can be found. Our host was very thoughtful, friendly and accommodating. The items in the "loyalty bar" were a bit expensive, but the convenience makes up for it.
Proximity to river, golf course and town mean never having to use a car to get to any of these. Beautifully and uniquely furnished.
Very pleasant! Ideal if you need to recharge your batteries.
The room is really not worth R900. It's poorly finished and the boiler doesn't work. I've stayed at much better places for the money.
