27 guests' feedbackWould have been better if someone could clean the unit on a daily basis. There were a few small things that bothered, there were bad 3 rolls of toilet paper, only one black bag and some of the plates and glasses in the unit were still dirty in the cupboards.
This place is surprisingly more spacious than it appears in the photos. A luxury unit with a beautiful view of the sea. Everything is spotless and the beach towels provided are a bonus! Sonya is friendly and very helpful. For sure, let's vacation here again!
What you see in the photos doesn't do Ballito Manor justice. It's stunning, peaceful and really worth every sent. Will be going there again very soon.

There is only a braai by the pool. Air cooling is not advertised but the photos show that there is air cooling. It doesn't work - misleading. There is a 4 page 'inventory' that you have to go through when you get there, and it is made clear that if you break just 1 glass you lose your entire R2500 deposit. This made us not feel at ease at all and were too scared to use anything! We took the time to check everything. There is stuff on the list that isn't there - apparently it's the wrong list. And there were broken things hidden in the back of the closet. The cleaning services also definitely let the place down. Ballito Manor View is stunning, will go again but for sure to another unit.

The air-cons do not work properly, and the towels that you pay R500 are already thin and rock hard.
1) Dishwasher wasn't working and apparently broken for some time according to the cleaners. 2) Main bedroom's door to the balcony couldn't lock - was only fixed on the 5th day. 3) Safe was only working after a week. 4) Air conditioner in second room didn't work. 5) Some things missing in the kitchen. 6) Disappointing discussion with owner regarding the linen and breakage deposit. 7) Exactly the same apartment next door was half of the price and everything was in working condition. Would circulate this review on social media with pleasure.
Stunning unit, just a shame that the aircon didn't work in 3 of the rooms and the owners just shrugged and did nothing.
Was there from Monday to Sunday and there were no complaints. It was exactly like the ad. "What you see is what you get". Nice pool, green grass and gardens and braai facilities at the pool was very well maintained. There were a few things that could have been better. The cleaning services in our opinion used the floor towel to wipe the mirrors and sinks. Was always damp after they had left. We have on one occasion washed and tumble dried the towels ourselves. The other thing was that the chairs are laminated wood and gets rubbed with oil. However, it doesn't absorb completely and leaves an oil mark on your pants if you sit there.
Everything needed is available. Safe, tidy and what a view. Saw dolphins every day! Will visit again.
Besides the great view and location, please in future ensure that doors and all electrical appliances are in working order before guests enter the appartment. Other than that, lovely, clean and modern apartment. Was great to be able to enjoy a few days there. Thank you for the quick maintenance service when needed.

Great apartment with beautiful views. Everything was well looked after, neat and clean. However, after being promised that my refund will be done on 9 April, it was only done on 22 April, even though banking details was provided on 31 March.

Everything we needed was supplied and in good working order. Anything we reported faulty or missing was dealt with promptly. Great location and beautiful surrounds. Right on the main beach. Very comfortable stay.

Daily cleaning services can be arranged at an additional cost per day. If you're booking is longer than 5 days a 2nd linen change will be done at an additional charge per room. Please note that if guests damage anything, the costs of replacing the item will be dependent on how the supplier sells them in specified quantities, as many items cannot be bought as a single item, courier and admin costs will be levied against the deposit. Once this has been deducted the balance will be refunded. Crockery is supplied in certain quantities and cannot be purchased in smaller quantities, as these are bought at hotel suppliers and not normal retail stores.
Please take note of any defects, such as dirty couches or linen, and report it immediately after checking in to prevent any unfair deductions from your deposit as it will be deducted from the deposit if not mentioned before.
