Very neat and well organized! Everything is labeled and laid out so you know exactly which switch is for what. Very nice inside and well maintained. The sofa in the living area is a bit uncomfortable, a lounge sofa would be much more comfortable.
Stayed and slept very well. The chair and benches in the TV/sitting area are just very uncomfortable. Comfortable couches / daybeds are necessary to have a really nice holiday there for longer periods.
Perfect stay for a much needed break away from the city. We slept a good 9 hours straight!
Pleasant stay. Little small outside area for our dogs who are used to space.

Friendly reception, loved the electric blankets and that we could braai indoors.
The town is unique because it is so integrated in terms of the fishermen's cottages and vacationers' properties adjacent to each other. It gives one hope that problems of inequalities can be solved. One also realizes that it can be a big challenge if there are problems. People on the street begging visitors unfortunately detract from the otherwise idyllic town. I believe there are people in the community who work hard to build relationships between residents.
About an hour into our stay, a homeless person harassed my daughter at the carport gate. I would recommend they add a security gate on the balcony; it is very easy to jump over the wall onto the balcony. It actually caused me not to sleep because we were three females alone.
This is a lovely place to stay. Everything that we needed was available. We loved the fact that there was an indoor braai area as well on the balcony. The kitchen was big and had all the necessary utensils. The only thing that was a problem was the fact that the bathroom and toilet were downstairs. But I will definitely book it again.

Awesome place - stayed only 1 night. Will definitely go back for a holiday. Paternoster is clean and safe.
The rooms are a comfortable size with plenty of storage space and well equipped - crisp white clean sheets, extra pillows and a light but warm duvet and also an electric blanket. Kitchen-dining-sit-barbeque room is spacious, tidy with all basic kitchen utensils. Indoor and outdoor grills both worked perfectly. Porches above and below the by the rooms are nice places to read/hang out. Covered parking would be better but the parking was big enough for two vehicles with a locking gate. Security patrols were often seen in the street. 4 days stay was great but 4 weeks would be better.
We appreciated the fact that my wife's therapy dog was welcome.
We loved the fact that the cottage is exactly as advertised. Perfectly equipped with good quality kitchen appliances and utensils, indoor and outdoor braai, good quality linen and towels. We loved the fact that we were literally 2-minute walk from the beach, and restaurants are walking distance too. Shirley and staff are very kind and offered a very warm reception. We enjoyed every second of our little weekend away.
We loved our stay and the Cottage was so close to the beach. Such a beautiful town.

The staff of the guest house were very friendly and helpful and even went to the trouble of couriering some of our belongings that were left behind.

We added a child to our booking at the last minute, and they added an extra bed to the room.
We go to Paternoster twice a year. The accommodation was great. It rained on Friday and Sunday while we were in Paternoster. The accommodation had 2 leak points in the roof/ceiling. We had to put buckets down to catch the water. One leak in the kitchen and one leak in the lounge area. Even though it was not a train smash for us, it should be fixed. The next family to stay in this accommodation might not be as understanding. The rest of it, great!

Beautiful safe place with a homely atmosphere, cozy barbecue area outside and friendly reception. Will definitely want to stay there on any future visit to the area.
Had a great time and the indoor braai came in handy, it was nice and windy. The 4-footed kids really enjoyed it too.

Where does one begin! You arrive at destination, top notch reception, unity is shown, heaven on earth. Would go back anytime.
We stayed in the Baywatch Cottage and it was very comfortable. The Cottage was neat and what we really enjoyed was that there was an indoor braai and an outdoor braai. If the wind was a bit bad we had a great barbecue inside. We had an amazing rest, everything we needed was there. The nicest part of the Cottage was the lovely big bed which slept incredibly well. The location was excellent because the area is quieter than at Voorstrand. Service was excellent.
We spent the night in a very neat little unit, just a pity that a bat inside the house came and spoiled it all.
Was there late afternoon and lady accompanied us to cottage. Clean, tidy, house just very cold no sun. Walking distance to beach and love the animal friendliness. The whole community allows you to bring your dogs with you, it's very nice. Enjoyed the weekend incredibly.

Accommodation was good, but cost of breakfast and service at breakfast was so-so. Three of the four of us only wanted a light breakfast - yogurt, muesli and fruit - but we were all charged R100 each for a full breakfast. And we had to come at a time that suited them, and not for us, because apparently they were busy.
The Villa unit is definitely a winner, als is clean and tidy, the sea is only a few meters walk away. Will definitely visit again.

The TVs can be upgraded as the image is very poor and "Full DSTV" is not true. A little axe would also be appreciated as the firewood is a bit wet.
