Also supplied in the rooms are tea- and coffee-making facilities as well as guest amenities including soaps, shampoos, moisturisers and shower gel.
Establishment facilities include Wi-Fi Internet access, a wireless weather station, a small informative library. Outside, there is a swimming pool, a pool bar, and sun decks, as well as a braai patio and secure off-street parking. A Jacuzzi are also available for guests to make use of. A JoJo tank on the property ensures an uninterrupted water supply as well as a generator to supply limited electricity in times of power cuts. There is a private pathway from the guest house giving guests direct access to the beach. Please note that there are dogs on the premises.
The guest house is within easy reach of 8 PGA-rated golf courses including Selborne Country Club, South Broom Golf Club, San Lameer Country Club and the Wild Coast Sun Country Club, which are rated in the top 50 courses in South Africa. A host of activities and a variety of restaurants are easily accessible.

The room, bed and bathroom were clean. The bed was firm and gave a good night's rest. There was no noise. The quantity and taste of the breakfast was excellent. The hostess was friendly.

Our stay was very relaxing and memorable. Beachcombers Bay has a wonderful location with a private entrance to a lovely beach. Facilities are very good and neatly maintained. The apartments are cleaned daily, as are the environs. The employees are warm and courteous, as are the wonderful owners whose hospitality is second to none. Sharon and Trevor exude warmth and a wonderful aura. We would recommend Beachcombers Bay to anyone seeking a decent B&B Accommodation in Ramsgate.

The accommodation was not so nice, sometimes felt like we were intruding. Dog at the breakfast table every morning all over the table. Definitely not my money's worth.

Room 1 is located opposite the kitchen, sounds from the kitchen were sometimes disturbing and the view is not as good as the other rooms.
We had a very nice stay. Beautiful beach is just a 2 minute walk, or 15 min walk to Margate's main beach. Also just a 2 minute walk to Tinkers Den Antique Shop, and the most beautiful shell shop. Breakfast is delicious, and the coffee making facilities in the room are very convenient. Very safe. 180 º sea view from the veranda - many whales seen. Will definitely come back.

Sharon and Trevor are excellent hosts. Our stay was wonderful and there was nothing we could have wished for. Breakfast was delicious, the fairies who came to clean our room every day were wonderful, the view beautiful, and their animal children soon crawled into our hearts as well. The jacuzzi was a winner! We always felt safe and Sharon had great ideas for places where we could visit. A wonderful experience that I would definitely recommend!

The owners and staff are friendly and very professional and we can recommend Beachcomber Bay to everyone.
The only criticism is the regular size bed which is small for two tall people, but the legs of the bed are too low. A higher bed will make a very big difference. Otherwise everything was fine.
Beachcomber Bay was a great place to come and relax, the sea view was fantastic, and the house has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. We will come again.
We had a lovely relaxing stay. Our only problems encountered were that we thought the Sauna and Jacuzzi were very expensive and that the time period specified was far too short for any real relaxation in these facilities.

The place was pleasant and clean.
Stunning view with warm hospitality is just what we need to get away for a weekend. Pity it could not have been for two weeks. It is such a lovely place.
I drove up and down the street but could not locate the premises. Met a police car and the only way we could find it was after they called the station. The place itself is fabulous, and Sharon is a great host.
This was a first time for us to spend our holiday at a Guest House, and I would like to say this we enjoyed it tremendously, especially the hospitality and the friendliness of the staff and owners. I would recommend to friends and family!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beachcomber Bay. There is a wonderful view of the sea from the patio, and easy access to the beach. The room was clean and comfortable, and fresh milk was provided each day for an early cup of coffee. There were a variety of breakfasts, which were delicious. The service was quick, efficient and friendly. Overall, a wonderful experience!

We were spoiled by being "upgraded" and that simply set the mood for a too short one night stay - would happily have spent another night and enjoyed a second scrumptious breakfast with a view to die for. Highly recommended
