We got a very friendly welcome. It's a comfortable, neat room with a private bathroom. We enjoyed our stay and had a relaxing weekend.
Guest room is very neat, tidy and complete. Reception and treatment from hostess was warm and welcoming. WiFi reception was very poor though. We couldn't make use of it at all.

Unbelievably nice stay! Very friendly staff who care about you and pay attention to detail. Breakfast is fantastic with a good variety. Would recommend Belle Vue for guests who are not too keen on privacy as the walls are thin.

Good value for money, neat and clean. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Nice breakfast. I would suggest that they look at the electric blankets and maybe a more effective heater for the room and bathroom, but despite this I will still highly recommend them. Had a very nice stay!

I absolutely loved our stay. The host is friendly, the breakfast was delicious and I just loved everything about the place.
Marcelle was very friendly and hospitable, the breakfast the Sunday morning just before we left was excellent, staying at Belle Vue was peaceful and serene, I will definitely go back again for a longer stay.

Belle Vue offers a beautiful view with a delicious breakfast. The hot breakfast was different every morning, with a nice selection. The rooms are close to each other and some of the other guests don't really consider other people. So it was noisy at times, with guests who also just came to sit on my balcony. So people who like to enjoy their privacy will not appreciate it. Otherwise everything was top quality with great service.
We experienced calmness and tranquility.
It's uncomfortable that the bathroom is outside in the corridor. The room is on the small side, but if you just sleep there it's perfect!
We were kindly greeted by Marsel and escorted to our room, the house is beautiful and the rooms are spacious. The view over the dam is breathtaking.

Comfortable and tidy room. We appreciated the personal contact with the owner, Marcel. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she strives to give each guest personal attention and service. Compliments also to her gardener, because the layout and care of the lovely garden definitely contributes to a 'lafenis' stay.

It's just a shame that the reception was rather unfriendly.
Everything was very good but the building is cold! In the summer the passing will probably be nicer, but in the winter it is very cold! The house is beautiful but freezing cold (the reception was warm and pleasant), but the building is cold and despite the air conditioning (which was up to 30 degrees as well as the heaters) I got cold and the separate toilet facilities were difficult for me.

The accommodation was lovely, very clean. We only spent one night, so only really used it for sleep. Lovely view from the top rooms, very relaxing.
We as Grandma and Grandpa were there with our 3 grandchildren aged 7.5 and 2 years. And Marsel went out of her way to keep everyone happy. Would recommend anyone with or without children to visit Belle Vue Guest House. Garden beautiful, view beautiful, and most importantly: you feel at home there.

The room we stayed in was very small and it had no chair at all to sit on. So we had to lie on the bed when we wanted to watch television. Otherwise it wasn't bad. They advertise that you can get soft drinks at the bar until 9pm but there was nothing available Saturday night at 7pm.
Rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the host was happy to assist with special requirements. Good value for money. Excellent position for the race I was doing the next day.

Beds sleep great and the rooms are very clean. There are good facilities and room 5 has a lovely balcony with a view. If the shared bathroom uses the shower facilities, the pressure in room 5's shower is very weak, so the shower cannot be used then. On the question of whether i would recommend Belle Vue to a friend - my answer is yes and no. Yes - because the place is beautiful,quite,homely looking and in the best location.I love it. No- Because the host/manager was not that welcoming and a bit brusk to a certain extent. Housekeeping - it can be improved, with putting in extra toilet paper in rooms. Apart from those two matters - household and the host, the place is wonderful.
Upon our arrival we were met at the car by the owner. She is a very friendly, comfortable and professional. We were immediately at ease. The Guest House is very peaceful and you immediately feel at home. The rooms are very neat, spacious as well as the en suite bathroom. The breakfast is excellent and guests are served by the owner herself. We felt like royalty every morning when we enjoyed breakfast. It was delicious. I will use this Guest House again. It is a port for anyone who wants to experience good service. Many thanks to the owner. I would recommend this Guest House to everyone.
We would come back, no doubt, when we are in the area. Very peaceful place in a good neighbourhood and close to areas of interest. Maybe dinner service could be introduced in future but all else (i.e. rooms, bedding, breakfast and the general feel) was superb.

It's a beautiful place, with friendly hospitality. We were very kindly received by Marcel. The guest house is beautiful and the family room we stayed in was very nice. If I could make a suggestion: a door could be placed in front of the entrance to the bathroom. Me, my husband and our 12-year-old daughter are a very close family, but a bathroom without a door can make it uncomfortable. We also told Marsel that the dogs that barked all night were very bad. We could not sleep with the barking of the dogs from the house directly opposite the guest house.

I can recommend the Belle Vue Guesthouse. Reception was very friendly. The room was tastefully furnished and the bathroom clean and tidy. There was air conditioning, free Wi-Fi as well as a variety of television programs to watch. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. The rate was surprisingly reasonable which included breakfast. The guest house is very centrally located in relation to many places that can be visited. I can confidently recommend this guest house to any tourist.

The guest house is very clean and tidy. The hot/cold taps in the bathroom sink as well as the one in the shower were changed. We informed the manager about it. We also suggest that the driver calls in help for breakfast. There were 4 tables she had to serve, and one of the other guests she had to check out as well. This resulted in us and other guests having to wait for our breakfast. While she checked out the guests, the next guest had to sit down at a table that was not covered. We have not spent the night at any other guest house where only 1 person was available to prepare and serve the breakfast.
