It was a really nice and tranquil environment and just lovely to be there.

Roof noisy when wind is gusting, loose panels at front door, bathroom window stuck, window panes paint peeling, not enough parking space and it doesn't seem save, broken auto glass all over.
Excellent for overnight stay, but my unit had no view and a bit of a basement atmosphere for a holiday destination But for the rate I paid excellent value.
Was very nice, I just had to wait and call for the key. The WiFi was just a bit slow, I would have appreciated it to have been able to watch the rugby, but the TV did not have that channel and the workers were noisy early on the Sunday morning and check out was also very early.
Perfect for a quiet break. Apartment has everything that you need. Nothing over the top. Simple and nice.

I was helped by a lovely lady when I got there. I would definitely go there again. She checked the room before we entered and made sure that we had everything we needed for our stay. The entire place was nice and neat, everything was on point. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
Very clean and tidy but not suitable for small children. Lots of stairs and dangerous railings. No 4 only has a sliding door with a lock that doesn't work properly, doesn't make you feel safe. Nice view from the roof.
Customer service was almost nill. Quite dusty under the beds which lead to a sinus attack.
The fact that there is only 1 braai place was a bit of an inconvenience as we first had to wait for other people to finish before we could start. We battled getting hold of the lady on Sunday morning when we needed some sugar, the was none in our room. We were a bit worried, the ad stated secure parking, but we basically parked in a driveway.
Windows cannot open as wind blows, knocks and cuts. No lights or any light at the entrance with lots of steps. Parking in the street. DStv smallest package and rarely works. WiFi works sometimes. Workers at front door from early and at bathroom window from early. One day had no water. Was a bit late to check out 10 o'clock on Sunday, then left my wife and my 2 year old waiting on the street with suitcases, didn't even help them with luggage, down stairs or let them wait in reception. Very impersonal with no holiday fare. Very expensive for what you get. Oven a joke and bitter dirty. Bedding mocks cheap nylon that makes you sweat in a place with no ventilation. Place cooks like a baking oven from early morning. Was my worst booking yet.

The faucets in room 1 and 2 need to be looked at, especially the sink faucets in room 1 and the place smells of smoke.

It is a very nice place with the view. Would just appreciate it if they maybe spray the places. We came across cockroaches in the cupboards which put us off a lot, but I also understand that many people visit there. But I had an awesome time, thank you.
Location is good, however the apartment was not clean. Bedding was dirty and smelly. Does not look like it was properly cleaned after the previous visitors.
Safe and secluded, we enjoyed ourselves, will definitely go again, and Jan recommends it.

The facilities were adequate, if I could make a recommendation it would be that there were not enough braai facilities. Most of the guests wanted to braai, but there was only one braai area.
Not the best reception, we got a key from the housekeeper, and was taken to our room. I paid for a room with a view , and it was explained to me that the view is of the mountain. The mountain is only a view point if someone lays down on the bed. If you stand up the view point is the neighbouring houses yards with washing etc. I paid extra for this so called view, but did not see a benefit in doing so. Not happy with the way it was handled because the agent said that this is why the place is called Bergsig. You can look at the mountain from every room basically. When we departed after our stay there was no one to do inspection of the facility or even to give the keys to, so I left the keys hanging in front at the main door because I already saw a set of keys that was hanging there and left. Over all the facilities are basic, nothing special. If you are interested in some personal touch where you feel welcome, then Bergsig is not for you.
Bergsig offers spacious accommodation with a fantastic view over False Bay. We enjoyed the layout of the apartment with a large lounge/kitchen area, a spacious bathroom and a separate bedroom. The apartment was clean and all the appliances worked well.

Even though it was only one night, it was fantastic accommodation, very neat and clean, safe and very secure. Will definitely book again.
Friendly reception by owner is appreciated. Cleaning staff were also very friendly. It is a pity that vehicles on the premises cannot be better secured due to slope - it would have provided more peace of mind.
The apartment is neat, private and well-equipped. Lovely view.
Recommendation for the owner is to provide air conditioner, or a bigger fan for the units. Items that were accidentally left behind are only cleared after the cleaner was in the room when we left.
I'm a bit disappointed in some stuff I have experience there like: I went there for a good rest and peaceful weekend but I didn't get it, they told me I can book in early, but when I came there my room was not ready and the staff didn't know of my book in. The beds are rock hard and staff talk loud and cut grass early in the morning under the window and it was just one of those weekends that I think I wasted my money on. That was my first and last time I went there, there is much more better places in that area. I just hope they can up their service otherwise they will lose a lot of business.

We decided last minute on a getaway for a day or two. The house was very clean and everything was well furnished. We were very impressed. I will definitely go back again.
The stay was absolutely fantastic. Amenities were perfect. The DStv channels are a plus, believe me. Everything so clean and the sleeping facilities are a bonus. We enjoyed it and will definitely visit again. Thanks again!
