Close enough to EL for business, far enough to chill if needed.
My daughter and I slept over, everything was very clean and tidy. Will definitely use the guest house again.
The staff were really very helpful.
The place is nice and comfortable with all that we need to overnight, defnitely will come and spend more time here in the future with my family on a holiday trip. The breakfast is also very nice to start the day.

Had a lovely 2 night break away. The room we stayed in was lovely. Fully equipped in the kitchen, clean and neat and a lovely bathroom. Only negative was the bed. Advertised as a king size it is two singles pushed together and the middle join was somewhat uncomfortable. Overall a lovely stay with quick access to the golf course, beach and amenities.
The noise of other guests clearly audible in our room. No towel rail in bathroom.
Other guests a bit noisy, will think twice before staying there again.

We enjoyed our stay at Birdhouse. Our room was neat and clean. Entertainment areas are available for guests to use and the gardens are well maintained. Belinda was our friendly hostess and she took good care of us.
Birdhouse was a replacement for another booking that fell through. For the same price this B&B was exceptionally neat, safe and had a great kitchen and braai. At the other guesthouse I had already ordered dinner when learning that I had to move to another guesthouse. This cause me to hit the jackpot!
It was incredibly nice, very friendly and professional staff, we were pretty much spoiled with delicious breakfast in the morning. Our special time away was definitely worth the effort and long drive and we will definitely stay there again.

A very conducive and attractive guesthouse I have ever been.
Bed and pillows in bad condition. No reception and no fans in the luxury units.
We were not in any of the units as shown in the picture but at the back which didn't have any outlook. The unit was clean but had no chair to sit on, only a bench outside the unit. The sink in the bathroom was not adequate to even rinse our a cup as it was so tiny. To compensate for the lack of comfort the breakfast the following morning was very good and plentiful which made up for the room.
The Birdhouse is neat and in a tranquil area. Good, friendly reception. I can definitely recommend it.

Plug points are dangerous, hanging in mid-air. Only 1 bedside pedestal in one bedroom. No extension cord for kettle and microwave, had to boil the kettle on the floor. Rooms were not ready to check in at 14:00 pm. One room had not been cleaned after the first night, no key to open door! No shelves in both showers to place your soap, shampoo etc. Pillows have a bad odour.
Rustige eenvoudige b+b. Basic kamers en acomodatie zonder meer. Lekker ontbijt. Kortbij mooie stranden en mogelijk bezoek aan East London.
Was definitely the best choice for us as a family. Nice place to stay and lovely pool close to shops and main beach.

Not at all suitable for small children. Not much service from staff.
It's a pity there were no towels, and not used to arriving late.
Myself and a colleague was there for 2 weeks and the staff made it at home for us. What was a positive was that there was a laundry service and the staff was accommodating with this, (can not travel with 2 weeks cloths). On the weekend we could have breakfast later with no problems. Thanks again for the staff and management for a wonderful stay.
For R 450/night, the light bulbs in the roof light could at least be replaced so that one can see to read. The bedside lamp is also pathetic.
The reception was good and the room very neat. The breakfast was also very tasty.
We really enjoyed our stay. Friendly people, good service and so helpful. The accommodation was beautiful and clean and we will definitely make our home there again.

The bathroom door does not close the bathroom at all. Upon our arrival, we had to hear that our room's keys were still with the previous guests and that they would only come and hand them over to the supervisor of the guest house later. The bathroom door in our room didn't close all the way at all, so there was no privacy. The guest house is also not located in a convenient location, because we had to drive far to get to East London.
Beautiful place, great service and the maid Zoleka went out of her way to make our stay pleasant. Big up to the whole crew!
