Elmari is a beautiful woman and very hospitable. There is always a surprise in the fridge for guests. Enough tea, coffee and milk. The place is spacious and beautiful inside. I can recommend it, have stayed there twice now.

After a very hard day's work, it was lovely to just be able to clean and rest.
The accommodation is situated on a large plot which gives the feeling of space. The interior is extremely well laid out with quality finishes and materials. In the fridge and on the table there were various treats placed for our use. The large fridge, TV and covered parking are all part of the package which makes it particularly attractive. Would recommend it with the utmost confidence.

Bloekomsrus is an amazing guest house, and the hosts are very friendly, accommodating, and make you feel at home. When I come back to Senekal, this will be my first choice.
Senekal was an excellent overnight stay for our flower tour. The unit is tastefully and comfortably furnished with all the necessary accessories. The once-in-a-lifetime treat was all the home-made food included: sourdough bread, butternut squash soup, farm butter, jams and spreads and the delicious rusks. It was cold and the bedding was cozy and warm.
We were surprised with Bloekomsrus. Elmarie is an excellent hostess. Where else do you get a welcome in self-catering accommodation with cold sparkling wine on ice in the fridge, a delicious quiche, fresh fruit and dessert. This together with neat, clean facilities. I have found a new accommodation facility where I will stay again and again in the future on my business visits to Bethlehem.
I have never stayed at a guest house where the customer service is so wonderful. The place itself is incredibly beautiful. One can only lose oneself in the peace in which one finds oneself at Bloekomsrus. We can't wait to stay there again!

This is a very small town with very little options. To my surprise the right option for my accommodation. From start to end this was one of the most pleasant stays I had in a long time. Elmarie is a super host and her attention to detail in her place is remarkable. This place is better equipped than my own house. On arrival I was greeted fairly friendly and made myself at home. The snacks provided was so great and so much appreciated. Don't think twice, this place is great. See you soon!

What an experience, we have stayed in many places, but this one was the best place ever. The most friendly and helpful host and hostess, we were treated to goodies, champagne and a set table. Als was so clean, with everything you need. And, the most enjoyable is relaxing on your own patio, quiet environment, with beautiful bird songs around you. An experience like few. This is our favourite stopover. We can't fault the service, comfort, facilities, cleanliness and extra touches that make this a really 5-star self-catering stopover. It is highly recommended.
Bloekomsrus is a self-catering unit, which offers everything and more than you expect. The owner is an excellent hostess who welcomes you with homemade snacks! I can confidently recommend Eucalyptus Rest.
Let me start off by mentioning how the owners Janie and Elmarie are so warm, generous and kind. They agreed to meet us at a garage quite late to ensure we get there without getting lost. The apartment is slick, modern, fresh, clean and absolutely stunning. You will get way more than your money's worth. It is very affordable for the quality of service and look and feel of the apartment. I enjoyed my every moment at Bloekomsrus and particularly appreciated Elmarie's hospitality. I am planning to go back and stay there. It is perfect for relaxing far away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Bloekomsrus is one of the best guesthouses we have ever stayed in! The unit is light and clean and the decor very modern. Finer detail can be seen everywhere - from the flowers/herbs in strategic places to the homemade biscuits (and treats in the fridge). There is a large private lawn and large trees, which immediately make you feel peaceful. We also really appreciated the access to Wif and DStv. The hostess, Elmarie, is friendly and warm without invading one's privacy. We wanted to stay another week and will definitely be back!
Our room at Bloekomsrus was very spacious with lovely decor and very clean. There was everything you could need, down to a snack and a bottle of champagne in the fridge! The guest house is far from any main street and at night it was dead quiet. Our hostess Elmarie and her husband were hospitable and so friendly. We can wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation!

What a surprise after an exhausting drive. The unit is clean, tidy and spacious. Thank you very much for the biscuits, chocolate, apples, champagne, and more. Our overnight stay felt like a pampering holiday and we would have loved to stay longer, but we would go out of our way to stay there again!

Bloekomrus I would recommend to anyone driving through Senekal to sleep over there. It is very neat, especially the tea, coffee, most delicious biscuit I have ever eaten, pies, apples and champagne in the fridge was a surprise. We have already slept at guesthouses in the Cape where there is really nothing and then you pay dearly to spend the night. I really want to congratulate Elmari on her stay, again very neat.
