We had a wonderful stay at Blue Swallow. We are extremely happy with the communication from the host, constant SMS reminders about our check-in and where to get the keys from. I recommend the establishment. What a lovely stay with a beautiful garden, safe and secure parking right at our doorstep. That was incredible, and the staff was friendly as well. The house was very neat with everything we need.
Cottages are clean and comfortable, with a lovely setting in the gardens and a pool. It is easy to walk to town and there is safe parking. It was very quiet during the day, but on Saturday night, there was some noise from town; however, Sunday night was quiet. The bathrooms could do with a bit of an upgrade. There is WiFi, but if you need it for work, it is not reliable as it kept disconnecting.

Stayed two nights as a couple, we were greeted by a friendly host who gave us detailed information on the tourist attractions on the nearby Panorama Route. The chalet was neat, clean, comfortable and included all utensils for self-catering. The gardens were well kept and included a lovely swimming pool, and the cleaning staff was very efficient and professional. Highly recommended.

Unit was equipped with all the basic items for self-catering. Restaurants were walking distance which was a win. The smaller unit is quite compact, but the large garden with clean swimming pool more than makes up for it to enjoy the tranquility of the area. Vehicle parking is right next to the unit, under roof. Plants also create a very private environment for each unit.

I would suggest that drastic attention be paid to the musty smell in the unit where we went home, it could be a health risk. A sliding door can also be put in the bathroom for some privacy. The mattress and sofa cushions can also receive attention.

Small town of Graskop is quiet, perfect for a getaway from Johannesburg's busy days. It's also nearer some of the best attractions Mpumalanga has to offer, God's Window, Blyde River Canyon, Three Rondavels, Bourke's Luck Potholes and many more.
The resort is small, but very well looked after and clean. Everyone we dealt with was extremely friendly people. The accommodation is neat and clean. We did not use the facilities seeing that we only slept over.

The unit we were in was outdated and there was no door between the bathroom and bedroom which was unacceptable. Security was problematic because the gate, which has to be opened by remote control, had to be opened physically. Host very friendly.

The accommodation needs renovation and refurbishing. Although clean, everything is outdated. There were some fungus stains on the ceiling. Some windows were broken and there was a musty smell in the house.

The very fact, that this was not my first stay at this venue, confirms that I was happy and will return again. I did find it very cold in the Igloo but then could not compare it to staying in a brick dwelling. Electric blankets were supplied, but maybe a small heater can be supplied in the winter. As a seasoned traveller, I travel with a small fan heater, so this was bearable. The Igloo was fitted out with everything and more than required.
The chalet was well equipped and nice and warm. The weekend was cold and so the chalet was nicely sheltered.

We stayed in one of the Igloos, it's a nice room, with cutlery, plates, fridge. Nice room for an overnight stay. It's got a nice bath. They must just have a look a the plugs where the TV is plugged in, it hangs loose and can become dangerous.
My daughter and I enjoyed every moment in Graskop area. The igloo exceeded all expectations and is well equipped. The neighborhood was safe and close enough to restaurants and a shopping mall. There are also "outrides" within walking distance of Blue Swallow Chalets for those who want to see a bit of nature on a horse's back. I would definitely recommend Blue Swallow Chalets.

I loved everything about Blue Swallow Chalets, the place is so clean, presentable and the atmosphere is so relaxed and tranquil. The manager treats you like a very important guest, the staff is friendly and their service is very professional. We had a refreshing time there, I would recommend Blue Swallow Chalets to anyone - it's really worth it.
A very pleasant stay, comfortable lodging set in beautiful surroundings. Loved having the rabbits in the area as well as some very healthy looking guinea fowl. Owners very hospitable and friendly. One complaint: after leaving Johannesburg at 05:00 and getting to Blue Swallow Chalets, I found no keys, but was directed to another address around the corner. When arriving there, I found no one to help and had to call the owners only to be sent to a third address, where I was the given the keys. Why could we not have been advised to call at this penultimate address.

Very neat, centrally located and safe. Beautiful garden with bunnies and guinea fowl that you can watch for hours. Directions to where to get key during office hours, just a bit confusing. The parking is very nice for a large vehicle and the ramp can be a problem for a low vehicle because very uneven surface. Overall we had a very nice stay.
We were so pleasantly surprised to see that the rondavel has the same facilities as the chalets, even electric blankets and a TV with selected DStv channels. It's really fantastic. The rondavel is spacious and the owners are very friendly and helpful. We will recommend Blue Swallow Chalets to all our friends and family. The "igloo" was very convenient for us in the sense that we really only needed a place to sleep with facilities to make some food. It was very pleasant and clean and fit our bag very well. Have already recommended Blue Swallows to several family and friends.
The chalet was very comfortable. The only problem was that the ceiling in the bathroom lacked maintenance. The sliding door of the bathroom and shower also needs maintenance. I will definitely go back to them again. I was fully satisfied. Has all facilities in the chalet, even WiFi.

We spent 6 nights in the Igloo. It was beautiful, clean and comfortable. To our surprise there was even a cleaning service each day despite the already affordable rate! There are tame bunnies jumping all over and a trampoline where we went to lie on to watch the stars at night. The owners are wonderful, helpful and friendly. Such a pity we weren't able to personally thank them before we left.
From the staff to the fibre glass chalet we booked everything was great. I would recommend it to anyone. next time I got with my family I will definitely book the place again.

The place is very nice, staff are friendly and the yard is very neat and well maintained. Fibre glass room is very unique and effort made to design it. Wish they can upgrade the parking because it is a bit small especially if you have a big car it may be a problem. Do high level cleaning especially the spider webs and moulds on the fibre glass room. Even to dedust the outside. Overall, I would recommend it and I will also go again if I go that side.

During the winter the igloo house is very cold inside. The bathroom could use a shower - the hand shower of the bath is not sufficient. Nice place to sleep.

The Fiber Glass house is not quite what I imagined, but it was very neat inside. I would put a heater in the place as it gets quite cold in the evenings. However, the service of the rooms as well as the owners was very good.

What I loved most, apart from the beautiful swimming pool, are the following: a) The central location of the accommodation site (we walked to the shops and we could easily drive to the major tourist places in Mpumalanga from where we stayed). b) The owners exceeded my expectations (they were very friendly and considerate). c) The customer service which I got from TravelGround was excellent. We had a nice stay at Blue Swallow Chalets. The owner was so welcoming. We arrived in the evening and the owner welcomed us with open hands. He was too friendly and he explained everything to us and he gave us a tour map. The chalet was very clean. The following morning the cleaner wanted to offer us the service but we told her that we were fine since it was raining. We enjoyed every minute during our stay @ Blue Swallow. We will visit the place again soon. And with the assistance of TravelGround our trip was simple we did not struggle with the bookings. The accommodation is central and safe, but not tasteful and luxurious. One toilet and shower for two couples is insufficient. The owner was very nice and helpful.
Was in Graskop for our annual leave. Couldn't ask for a nicer place to stay. The igloo was something different with all the amenities but at a very affordable rate. We arrived there in the evening and found out to our dismay that there is no petrol in Graskop. The next morning we were helped with 5L of petrol so that we could drive to Sabie to fill up. This is the extra mile they are willing to walk for guests at Blue Swallow Chalets. Everyone was friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed the cats, bunnies and guinea fowl on site. It's not a luxury guest house, it's a home away from home.
The place is not conducive. The staff were not friendly and the bedding was dirty. We had to buy 2 cans of doom to get rid of all the spiders.

We checked in very late at night after being hit by a hail storm. His place is also well furnished, neat and clean. This was the only accommodation that had warm blankets on the bed, as well as full DStv. Thank you very much Uncle Dirk for a very nice time. I would certainly recommend Uncle Dirk's other accommodation place instead (EBL Accommodation) but here it was just as nice.
For the location heating and cooling should be added, however we had good weathers and spent 90% outdoors.

It was a nice experience. Loved that the staff had time to explain everything we wanted to know about Graskop, and they provided us with a map. The views are incredible! Especially God's Window, the Falls, Bourke's Luck potholes, and lastly the three rondavels and echo caves.

Good first impression, average stay. No toilet paper. Noisy water pipes. Bathroom totally in bad shape - shower drain blocked, mixed tiles throughout the whole bathroom. There are no doors on the bedroom cupboard. Dirty chair in living area.

Although we were at home at Cozy Corner Guest House, we were very impressed with the accommodation and can recommend it at any time. Accommodation comprises 3 Chalets and 1 Fribre Glass Rondawel. The Chalets are self-catering with fully equipped kitchens, braai facilities with a carport. The bathrooms have a bath, hand towels and linen is provided. Chalets are serviced daily and are equipped with DStv, TV and internet access. The Rondawel is suited for 3 guests and is also self-catering.
On-site facilities include a swimming pool, braai area, Wi-Fi and secure parking.
