This was our first time visit to Hogsback and based on this stay, we plan to visit again and to stay at Bramber Cottage Living With Joy again. The accommodation exceeded our expectations and we enjoyed a roaring fire in the evening. Lovely setting out of town, but not too far.

Beautiful house, everything you need and more. Very convenient. Very beautiful gardens, our children had fun running around. Will definitely recommend.
The cottage was cosy and provided everything we required. The garden setting was beautiful and tranquil. Our host was engaging and suggested a number of activities and places of interest. Hogsback is a lovely destination and the accommodation was the ideal place to relax in. In addition to what is seen in the photos, a smart TV and air fryer were also provided.
We had a wonderful stay.
This is the second time we have stayed in Bramber Cottage and it was very nice. The charcoal stove, the new air fryer, dishwasher and gas stove make for a lovely, comfortable weekend. The solar panels they have also put in mean that there are no power outages, which we really appreciated. The two dogs, Mac and Jerry, came to say hello every now and then, which we enjoyed. From the property you can enjoy a beautiful view of the three Hogs mountains. We love the town, the forest and the accommodation. Will definitely stay there again! Thank you Gloria and Eric for the nice weekend!

We had a wonderful stay at Bramber Cottage! The cottage is beautifully decorated and practically equipped with everything you would need whether it's a short or a long stay. The cottage is situated in a beautiful garden, and close to nearby restaurants and attractions. We will gladly stay there again when visiting Hogsback!
The heavy rain only allowed us half a day to walk and the warm dust and more than enough wood ensured a warm house and a nice visit.
Bramber Cottage Living With Joy is delightful amongst the trees in Hogsback's forests. Although there was a lot of load shedding, we still had a great stay. Gloria is a very nice hostess and markets the town's tourist attractions. We were everywhere.
If I come back I will definitely go back there.
There are very limited shops. Pricing for activities are very pricey but enjoyable.
Bramber Cottage is a free-standing cottage on the premises of the owner. There is a lot of space and privacy. The owner, Gloria, is very friendly and helpful. The unit itself is lovely and spacious and neat, with a convenient little wood stove for cold nights. The kitchen is neat and modern. During the flower season their garden is definitely a feast for the eyes!
Was very clean and had evrything you could possibly asked. Kitchen was very well equipped! Loved staying there and will be back again!
Everything was clean and tidy and equipped with more than one needs. The fireplace was amazing and there is even a heater in the bathroom. The bedding smells deliciously fresh and the large garden is beautiful. We will definitely go there again. The cottage was perfect for us. We will go there again.
The indoor fire place is a gem. It works very well, and there is plenty of firewood.
Lovely walks and fresh air.
This place ticked almost every box: burglar bars, undercover parking, Weber, fireplace with wood supplied. Then I have to mention the small things such as the French press, coffee, tea, sugar and rusks, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. It was really difficult getting up the next morning,the duvet and mattress is by far the most comfortable I've had in a long time.

Hogsback is a beautiful place to visit, the Bramber Cottage is comfortable for 2 people. Everything you need is available and nice clean and warm bedding for cold nights.
We stayed in Bramber Cottage for a week and really enjoyed it. The charcoal stove is great and doesn't smoke at all. There was enough wood to light a fire every night. The dishwasher makes the accommodation a winner. The porch outside is nice to enjoy breakfast and coffee while looking at the beautiful trees. Only thing that bothered us a bit is that the bed was not so comfortable. Otherwise nice stay!
Die kothuis is in 'n lieflike afgesonderde ligging. Die interieur is mooi met moderne toestelle en WiFi, baie skoon met 'n lieflike houtkaggel. Gloria was baie verwelkomend en behulpsaam. Die kothuis is baie naby The Edge en Eco Shrine. Ek beveel sterk aan om hier te bly. Ons het ons verblyf baie geniet.
Lovely cottage in a very nice part of Hogsback. Ideal for exploring the surroundings, or just sitting quietly in the garden and reading a book. Gloria put in a lot of effort and her information and advice on activities in Hogsback was very helpful. The cottage is very well equipped.

We had never been to Hogsback before,one of the reasons was to visit the Starways Art Center, who's late founder we knew from his days in Gauteng. Gloria even found the contact details of the family for us,and we could spend some time there. The cottage has all one could wish for, stacks of wood for a very efficient wood burning stove,Such lovely setting in a garden full of trees and birdsong. Our small dog enjoyed the freedom of running around,and we could walk to "the edge". Thank you Gloria and Eric for your gracious hospitality.
