It was well worth the time, very friendly host, so relaxing and quiet. Just what we needed for a peaceful weekend away. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants.
To stay near the centre of Hermanus is very pleasant, within walking distance. Nice large swimming pool. The outside area of our room (nr. 1) was quite hot (summer season). Two lovely dogs were on the spot to keep company. Their backup for load shedding functioned perfectly.
The accommodation was very comfortable and clean and very spacious. It is within walking distance from the town centre and our host was very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely come back for again.
We were very kindly received by the hostess and really enjoyed the comfortable stay. Everything was in place and comfortable. We will definitely use the place again.

Accommodation well furnished and it was nice that load shedding had almost no effect on our accommodation's facilities. Would definitely recommend it to others. Everything else satisfactory.
Very kindly received by the host. He gave a lot of information about the area and some handy tips. They upgraded us to a larger unit with a duster due to expected cold. Thank you very much for your extra care! Brown Jug is also located in a beautiful, central part of Hermanus.

We got more than expected. The Brown Jug was easy to find, close to the center of town yet quiet. Although we spent very little time at the Brown Jug, basically just slept over, it can easily be a spot where you can stay much longer. It's like a home from home - has a pool, braai area, nice lounge, closed circuit wood burning fireplace, lovely showers and was clean, safe and comfortable. For a really good rest, I love a dark quiet room. You don't find that often. If you need light, just leave the stoep light on.
We had a great time. The owner received us very kindly and immediately made us feel at home. The unit was nice clean and comfortable and met all our needs. Will definitely use Brown Jug's accommodation again and will definitely recommend them for accommodation in Hermanus.

A lot of space in the apartment but it is very full of stuff that doesn't sit well.
I will stay there again. It's nice and close to town. You can just walk.
