Wooden floor needs attention, and also not really enough kitchen goods as just for braai there was not even a braai bowl.
It is a very neat place. You are in nature and it is a perfect getaway.
Very private but without fly spray or fly swatter, it was unpleasant. The heavy rain caused mud, so walking was out! Personally, we think the accommodation is not really value for money.

Swempie Honeymoon Luxury Tent is very private and well equipped. Nice boma, brand new Weber and clean barbecue equipment. Beautiful view over the valley. Friendly reception and the unit is serviced daily. Bedding is high quality and nice and warm. Went for a 8 km walk on a beautiful walking trail that was well marked. Especially the part along the river and through the forest is a "must". There are several walking options - all well signposted. Only recommendation is that a "lounger" or 2 on the stoep will make the experience even more enjoyable. Will go back for sure!
It was fine to get out of the rat race, is not far away from the rat race.

The website mentions that there will be a fan. Our toilet clogged on the second night. All the taps are old and it is difficult, especially in the shower, to get the water mixed correctly. I wanted to open the flaps in the roof of the tent, and a large amount of dust fell out. The hanging cabinet is in a precarious condition.
Great getaway in the woods. The tent camp is very neat and equipped with everything you need. The camp is surrounded by beautiful nature and we really enjoyed the hiking trails. We were there on a very cold weekend and would recommend guests to go in warmer weather to take full advantage of the surroundings. We will visit B'sorah again.

Everything was very nice. I think it would only be good if one was informed in advance that only a 2-point plug of electricity is available because of the solar power. Although one understands this, it can help with planning. If I had my own camping ice (with longer stay) there, there would be a problem!

The tents are absolutely beautiful. Just note that the river tents only use solar panels for power generation. No sun = no power. The Swempie tent has power and it's worth paying extra for the beautiful tent. There was a helicopter flying over the campsite at night - it made me uneasy.

This was our second time at B'sorah and it was lovely. Many birds in the forest and we saw kudu, meerkats etc. Nice and quiet, away from the city, ideal for a quick getaway.

If you stay in Johannesburg or Pretoria you drive less than an hour and find yourself in the most beautiful environment. All staff are friendly and welcoming. We had a very nice stay even though it was so cold and would like to return in the summer.

Upon our arrival, the cutest dogs came to greet us at the car. Our tent was already ready even though we were a little early. The tent was breathtakingly beautiful and located right by a stream. The atmosphere was peaceful with only the birds, frogs and other wildlife around us. We had hot water all the time because every now and then someone came to stoke the donkey. The cleaning staff were also very friendly and helpful. We felt very safe with the guard and his dog doing their rounds. Truly an experience!

My husband and I needed some alone time away from the city life. We definitely got that from our stay. If you the outdoor camping type then this place is perfect for you. Being visited by cows and monkeys was one of the reasons why it’s an awesome adventure. We also loved the cool hiking trials and being able to capture some awesome pictures of nature.

B'sorah is a beautiful place. We just loved our spacious safari tent, the wooden deck, private braai area, quiet, the bush and all the interesting bird sounds. I just regretted that we didn't take binoculars along. It's going to be fun when all the hiking trails are finished. Hopefully one could then see some of the game. I read that guests complained about ice. We bought a big bag of ice on our way at the Spar at Hartebeespoort. It worked very well for the 2 days we spent there. Though there was much to do in the area, we just wanted to stay right where we were. We definitely plan on returning. Swempi, the honeymoon tent, looks like an absolute winner!
We will definitely go there again to just be at peace, the place is nice and clean and the view is beautiful, it is also private.
It wasn't bad but I wouldn't go back. The positives are: it's near Gauteng for a little getaway; it's private and has a beautiful view with nice hiking trails in the area. The negatives are: There was no ice (not even for the champagne in the bedroom) and I had to drive to the nearest town to buy ice; breakfast is not served on Saturdays; there was a big storm and the roof leaked on the bed; they only cleaned the kitchen and bedroom at 13:00 on Saturday and Sunday we were woken up by the motorcycles that drove past on the road behind the lodge.

The silence was a bonus. There were lovely walking trails and you could walk the whole day and just be alone with all the animals and birds.
B'sorah Luxury Tented Camp is comfortable with a nice view and a nice braai area. Had a nice time around the fire in the evening. Also enjoyed the setting at the dam. Visited the Anne van Dyk Center and was very impressed.
If you just want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city for the weekend, this is definitely the place to choose. You become one with nature and environment again. Will definitely visit again when the city life is pressing and the fact that it is only 45 minutes from Centurion is an absolute asset, you are not tired from driving before or after the time.
It was very peaceful. It is a lovely tent, nice and clean. We had hot water thoughout the stay. A little disappointed in not seeing the animals. A guided tour would have been nice. Sometimes, in a strange place walking out on your own is a little scary. But we still really enjoyed our stay, it was very relaxing.

When I booked it was to rest without many people. The tent looked so beautiful. We were so happy when we got there. Five star quiet and we rested so well. I can't wait to go again.
We loved the nature, quietness and the donkey! Sitting on the deck in the mornings sipping on coffee made from the gas stove. The shower is nice and big, Loved it! (Thanks for the champagne and chocolates). Our Johannesburg people are so used to noise and electricity but the experience at B'sorah made me realise that we can survive the bushveld and enjoy it! What an experience we had. We did not want to leave on Sunday and will definitely come back.

"Luxury" ... ? Was the "luxury" they were talking about the tiny Bar One chocolate bar on the bed? My husband and I got away here for the weekend. We didn't have such a nice stay. The freezer didn't work at all when we reported it it turns out it wasn't on at all! The freezer should also be used as a fridge, but is on a "timer" so we had to go and buy other meat on the Saturday, after the Friday we arrived there. It was very hot and to keep our things cold we had to use the cooler box and ice. There is also solar power but it can only charge your mobile phone. Many things were not communicated ahead of time.
Just nice and close to Johannesburg or Pretoria you can start your weekend and relax in minutes!

Friendly reception and neat accommodation with your "home deep" hidden in the forest, made our experience of this tent accommodation a very pleasant weekend. However, just be aware of the fact that you can only charge your mobile phone during your stay. No laptops can be charged.

It was much more than we expected, I was "speechless". I just wanted to stay there!
If you want to "switch off" and experience peace and quiet in beautiful scenery, this is the place. Natalie and her family made us feel like family. The walking and cycling routes help one to forget about the hectic life to which we are becoming so accustomed.
My husband and I have been looking for a place like B'sorah for the past 10 years - a special forest getaway close to Jhb that is worth going back to! B'Sorah was everything I dreamed of in a place I was looking for - surrounded by nature... luxurious, but simple and just beautiful! - A TRUE escape from the city! The sound of the stream close to one's tent is therapeutic. We had a fantastic view of the forest and enough privacy from the other tents. This is a rare treasure we discovered. We will definitely go back there in the future! The owners are very friendly and helpful, and you can see they make an effort to make it a special experience for their guests. I would recommend it without a doubt!
