The staff's competence, friendly and professional behavior is the best we have ever experienced. Every need you can think of and couldn't even imagine has been met. It's the closest we've ever come to feeling like royalty.
Unfortunately it is obviously allowed to celebrate larger parties there, which is very annoying and should not be allowed in a nature reserve. The last night was completely disturbed due to noises from this group. For this price unacceptable.
I was seeking a special place at which to celebrate a special event – Bushmans Kloof through the professional staff, excellent food, exceptional ambiance, and beauty of the environment exceeded our expectations. Further, Jannie's knowledge of the environment, fauna, flora and Khoi San paintings was exceptional and added greatly to our enjoyment of the Bushmans Kloof experience! In addition, the efforts of housekeeping (rose petals outside the front door, on either side of the bed and on the bathmat) all contributed to a memorable stay that we’ll remember for a long time!

Bushmanskloof did not inform us ahead of time of the walking routes and how long they take. If we had been aware, we would definitely have been at the resort by 14:00 to be able to complete the walking route before high tea or dinner. The high tea was very meager, you couldn't call it a high tea, I suggest they give it another name. If you want to call me, I will give feedback in more detail, but the bartender's interaction with us was not at all to our liking. He was dismissive to say the least. When a customer gives you feedback about your wine prices (which are 4 times the retail price) and you reply with "but it's a special wine", I can only assume that he is not properly trained. Likewise with the lounges which were fully booked. When we asked who was so privileged to eat there, his answer was "everyone who stays at Bushmanskloof is privileged". We were already at the bar early, later, when other guests arrived, he invited them to take one of the tables, before someone else took it. The room where dinner was served had no seating or lounges, because it was set up for dinner, and therefore the only seating before dinner was at the bar. The problem is the price. When you want to charge such prices, your service must 100% meet the expectation that is created. For this price, we'd rather fly to OysterBox again, where the service is equal to the costs.
From the moment you arrive until you leave, you are taken care of. The food is delicious, the tranquility is something you don't experience every day and the silence - you can hear it.
