Very pleased with the location, friendly staff, and beautiful, clean family cottage.
Accommodation was clean and tidy except for one cottage whose gas geyser did not work. Other than that pleasant experience.
We only stayed overnight, but service was good even though we arrived late at night.
Cabanas is truly a gem of a place, on the banks of the Orange River in Namibia and with the most beautiful views over the Orange River. Accommodation is very neat and picturesque. We also had a great time by the pool, and the food at the restaurant was also delicious. I would definitely stay here again, but next time for longer. A bit more expensive than other places in the area, due to the more exclusive location, but I definitely recommend it. It's really very beautiful and next time we will visit there longer.
Cabanas Provenance Camp has an incredible location. The facilities are neat and we had a nice stay. We had to wait a very long time for the dinner to be served, and many of the dishes on the menu were not available. It was indeed the start of the school holidays, but the planning could have been better. But for tranquility and views they get full marks. Especially after a long wait at the border.
We unfortunately didn't have hot water, and I think the accommodation is a bit expensive for what you get.

Stunning location on the river and very peaceful and perfect stay over for the night on our journey back home. Almost halfway. Only regret is that we did not stay one more night! A day here would be great as there are a lot to do.
Stunning location, great area. Airconditioning in chalet was great. Swimming pool is nice to cool off in and in a very beautiful area. Highly recommended.
Super place to stay, great to have meals and drinks available. Superb location overlooking the river which is teaming with bird life. Staff friendly. Place neat and clean.
Nice stopover if you travel from Namibia to South Africa or vice versa, before Fishriver canyon you can make a nice trip through the beautiful Ais Ais Richtersveld.
We had an incredibly nice stay. Stunning views, very neat cabins. Only problem I had was the cold reception from the lady at reception. The area at the cabins is stunning, neat and very well looked after. Unfortunately, the area by the river where the canoes are is very untidy and messy. Food at the restaurant was also first class quality!
Nice place to sleep overnight, love the pool.
Lovely rest camp, the heat was hopelessly too bad (39 Degrees) so the air con struggled and the room took an incredibly long time to cool down. Maybe they can invest in bigger air cons for the large area that needs to be kept cool. I would suggest they include breakfast in the price as additional costs at the end of a holiday are not really in the budget anymore. Apart from these two suggestions it was a lovely evening with incredible views. I will definitely stay there again!
Most beautiful place along the Orange River! We enjoyed it very much! Friendly reception! Neat and clean and it was a relief after a long day's travel! It was a privilege to be able to spend the night here!
