Both rooms and lounge area have amazing sea views and are all fitted with ceiling fans. The apartment is serviced by 2 bathrooms, 1 en-suite with a bath, and the other with a shower, as well as a separate guest toilet.
The open plan kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave and a dishwasher. The lounge is equipped with a DVD player as well as a TV with full DStv package so there is no need to bring with your own decoder. The unit is also equipped with unlimited Wi-Fi and Netflix for your convenience.
The unit boasts a UPS system for uninterrupted viewing and WiFi use during load shedding.
The lounge sliding glass door opens onto the veranda with a braai facility and a large grass area for children to play with direct beach access. There is a single garage provided and the unit is fitted with an alarm and a small safe for valuables.

Stay was very relaxing except for the beach being brown by our section. View was exceptional from the two rooms above. Pet friendly. My daughters' room and sons' room had bed bugs; they were bitten terribly. Please have those two rooms' beds cleaned. No air conditioning available, even though I asked for air conditioning in Calamari 11.
Indescribably perfect place to rest and a wonderful view of the sea.
We have been going to Calamari for 4 years and will always go back. This is a great place and very easy with small children!

Weather was nice and we just wanted to rest. Therefore this was the ideal place. Very disappointed in the area. Ramsgate and Margate are no longer the holiday destination we used to know.
Staying in Calamari 10 was fantastic. The unit is right on the ocean with no one else in front of you. Our family really enjoyed having lunch picnics on the lawn with the ocean as background music. Although most of the time we went swimming at the main beach at Ramsgate (only a 5 min drive) because the children are still small and enjoyed swimming in the river and tidal pool. The beach in front of us was still fantastic for early morning and late afternoon adventures with the kids and we even befriended an octopus. Will definitely stay there again.

So peaceful and relaxing.
I have never had a kitchen that is as well equipped and access to both a dishwasher and washing machine was great. The unit is also very attractively decorated.

The decor in the unit is beautiful and the owners really thought of everything from pots to toys for the kids. The lower room where the two single beds are is just not very practical as it is ideal for children, but it's between the living area/kitchen and living room so the children only settled down when the whole house went to bed. Difficult with smaller children. Because the beach is open to the public, there was a case or two where strangers came walking in front of our unit asking for money. The unit itself protected the owners very much.
The cottage was very neat and tidy and clean. Everything that you need was provided and it's in an excellent location. It's got a beautiful view and it's right on the beach which was perfect.
The allocation is very nice, very quiet and nice for the fishing. Nice view.
They really thought of everything: from toys, board games, dishwasher, beach bag and chairs, alarm system, lock up garage, I could go on. We stayed wonderfully and could really just relax. Although I would recommend that you drive to the swimming beaches instead, it is still within walking distance. The return to the long day in the sun was not so pleasant. The accommodation is really centrally located i.t.v. shops, beaches, places to eat etc. The only suggestion I can make is that they buy a small vacuum cleaner as the apartment is no longer "serviced", it's really hard to get rid of all the sand with just a broom and shovel. Thanks for a wonderful getaway, we will definitely book again.
We had a lovely time. The house was well-equipped with everything you needed from hairdryer, dishwasher to washing machine etc. The kids loved the beach and the grass area to lounge around. Definitely will return for a longer stay.
It's definitely a place I would recommend. It is clean and tidy, plus they have thought of everything, including toys for children. Every morning you have badgers that come to visit. Will definitely stay there again.

Everything was just great, will definitely go back and our kids love everything I showed them on video. The time at Calamari 10 made me decide to sell in Vereeniging, I'm going to look for a place to live on the South Coast.

Amazing to fall asleep in the evening with the sea in your ears. Can be at the beach in minutes and home again in minutes. Our two toddlers enjoyed every moment.

Accommodation was value for money.
Calamari 10 was a great time for us. The unit is incredibly equipped with everything you can think of and more. Mandy is fantastic to deal with and everything went so smoothly. The grass in front of the unit is ideal for children to play on. The badgers come to visit often and the sea is a stone's throw away. We can recommend it to anyone.

The unit offers all the amenities expected of a self-catering unit and more. From the very comfortable beds to the well-equipped kitchen and private built-in braai on the stoep. And then there is the wonderful sea view regardless of whether you are relaxing on the veranda or in any of the bedrooms. The location is also perfect for nature lovers. There is a family of badgers that live in the bushes next to the house and stretch out on the lawn every morning before the hordes of monkeys make their appearance. Both Margate and Ramsgate's swimming beaches can be reached within minutes by road or by a refreshing walk along the beautiful beach.
What a lovely surprise with the sea on your doorstep! So comfortable, even with toys for the little ones, really well rested. Enjoyed every moment, was lulled to sleep at night, drank nice coffee while daydreaming and looking out over the sea. And fun to barbecue with the sea as a conversation piece! Top-notch facilities with a sea view from every bed. Close tot the peaceful beach and green grass makes it even better. Security in the complex can be improved especially if you pitch up with two vehicles, but will definitely be back.
Best beach holiday yet, with the most wonderful sea view you could ask for. Not even necessary to visit the other beaches because you have your own spotless and quiet beach on your doorstep. Where can you still find a place to sit and watch the sunrise with the two most beautiful blue duiker playing on the lawn? Truly worth it, and we will definitely go again. My wife was a bit skeptical because there was no fence but that was only at the beginning seeing as how the alarm and the 24 hour security services makes you feel completely safe. I will go again even if they put up no fence. You won't know before you've been there. Very nice stay!

Cleaning services can be arranged for you between 8:30 to 14:30, excluding week-ends and public holidays. This must please be booked through our office at least 48 hours in advance and must be paid to us upfront and not directly to the cleaner.
