If you like mold polluting your lungs, this is the place for you. Although the owner is friendly and the place looks exactly like his photos, the photos cannot tell you about the musty smell that hangs there (lumps & rising damp). We barely slept there 1 of the 3 nights we paid for, under the duvet that wasn't even covered. We literally couldn't get out of there fast enough.
Our stay was very pleasant, and the owner of the guest house was very helpful.

I had an absolutely pleasant and safe stay. As a single female traveller, the place was safe, and my car had secure parking space as well. The host was most welcoming and really let me have free rein on the use of the common areas. I really enjoyed my stay.

Wow wow wow! What a beautiful apartment with beautiful hosts! We were treated like royalty, and if you want to know more, go and experience this for yourselves. Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and we didn't even notice when there was load shedding. The apartment was spacious, clean, and neat. The bedding and towels were squeaky clean. We have been to over 25 self-catering apartments in the past 2 years, and 17 Stella has surpassed them all. The views from the 3 different decks were absolutely stunning and breathtaking. I would recommend 17 Stella to anyone. No doubts here! Baie geluk!

The apartment/house is very clean and tidy. Everything is very well thought out and practically laid out. We lacked nothing, all the kitchen utensils are available, hairdryer in the bathroom, enough hot water etc.
Willie and Sunette surprised me with a bottle of champagne and flowers on the table upon arrival. Was my birthday. They are very hospitable and invited us to watch a springbok rugby match with them. The place to stay is spotless and has absolutely everything one could ask for. We had a great stay and enjoyed every moment to the fullest. We Can definitely recommend 17 Stella to any couple looking for a safe and peaceful place to stay.
We were kindly welcomed by Willie and he immediately made us feel at ease. Plekkie is well equipped with air conditioning, WiFi, TV, coffee machine, and load shedding is not a problem because there is solar power. Our time there was very pleasant and will definitely visit again from the Free State.

The sound of the waves lulled us to sleep at night and we really enjoyed the view. The sunrise over the sea is lovely and you have to take pictures of it - plus you get a freshly ground cup of coffee too! The two nights were just too short! Everything and more than we expected. Central, close to the sea and very safe. Private and cozy apartment with everything needed. Lovely pool and private deck chairs to unwind.
Willie and Sonette are very hospitable. 17 Stella has even more in it than the photos show. It's a beautiful self-catering unit that is extremely clean and safe. Lovely view and safe. Delicious soap and cream. Serviced daily. WiFi is great. Will be our first choice for Ballito for sure.
Willie was an excellent host looking after our every need. The dry towel every day was brilliant. Load shedding is not a problem as they are geared for it. Will definitely stay there again.

It's a beautiful place that is clean has a nice view and the most nice thing about the place is it is safe and it's near the mall, garage and places to eat. I had a great time at 17 Stella may they continue to be as good as they are, I felt at home and welcomed.
From the owners to the accommodation, it was the best accommodation we've had in a long time. The owners are extremely helpful and accommodating and so hospitable. The dogs on the property were a bonus for us and the amenities were top notch. Would definitely go back.

Het ons nou vir jou lekker gelsaap. Sitting on the decks overlooking the ocean makes one think of a typical Greek Villa - tranquil and peaceful. 17 Stella is located close to the beaches and only a five-minute drive to town. There are loads of activities and good restaurants within a twenty km radius. We are already planning our next stay. Thank you Willie and Sonette for your hospitality and for making us feel at home.

The room was very neat and there was everything we would need. We felt very safe with the alarm system and our car under cover. In the room, the dos and don'ts were laid out very nicely! When we come to Ballito again we will definitely stay there again!

17 Stella is a funky, modern apartment with all the amenities one would expect during your stay at the beach. It's ideally located within short distances of the beach, restaurants and shopping centres. There are a variety of decks to enjoy the stunning sea views, and it's lovely and quiet to relax at the guesthouse. Our host Willie was very welcoming, friendly and attentive, ensuring that the generator ran during scheduled loadshedding times - which made our stay there even better. We hope to stay there again when visiting Ballito!
The owner Willie welcomes you warmly and then the stay is simply very pleasant. Great sea view. Quiet and no noise. If you want to rest, rest well, I absolutely recommend the guest house. Walking distance to the beach. Here's peace for your soul.
