We had a very nice stay.
It was very convenient near Phalaborwahek. Neat and clean.
Perfect for a quick overnight stop.
The unit I discussed is not the unit we were placed in. We were placed in a house next to the site. No arrangements had been made in advance, I only realized later that evening when we were settling down, that this was not what I had discussed. I would recommend that there should be dish soap, a sponge and drying cloth in the kitchen. The glasses in the cupboard were not dry and the cutlery was not clean either. There is also a drain smell in the sink area that they can address.
We had a very nice stay. It's clean and tidy. We were received very kindly and the service was fast and excellent. We will go back again for sure.
Will use the guest house again.
Casa Leitao Lodge is an affordable and tidy place to sleep if you are visiting the Kruger for the day. Nice restaurants also in the area.
The unit is spacious, but the surfaces were not clean (floors and counter tops).
We slept well, the beds are comfortable, the room and bathroom are clean and very tidy. All I noticed that might be a problem is that the kitchen window might need a blind as I could see into the room. The price of the unit is also really very affordable.
The unit our family stayed in appeared neat and clean, but the bedding in both rooms was not clean. The couch in the living area was also very dirty. Our friends (2 adults) were in one of the open plan units and they found it neat. However, they have not checked their bedding and therefore cannot comment on it.
Room 6 is a comfortable, spacious room, a good bed and a nice kitchen. After we left for Tshipise, I received a text that I urgently needed to contact Casa Leitao Lodge. The male manager informed me that we forgot our camera and a jacket in the room. Such after-service is not easy to find. The staff is honest. They also arranged for the goods to be delivered to Tshipise 4 days later. We will definitely stay there again. Thank you Casa Leitao Lodge!
Very neat rooms.
We checked in the Friday before we went into the Wildtuin and the noise didn't stop until about 2 o'clock in the morning - I also had a reservation on the way back but didn't even bother to go back - despite the cleanliness and convenience at the Wildtuin gate I would not recommend it at all! Photos are extremely misleading!
Neat rooms, good for an overnight stay. Air conditioning in the units and a small kitchen was good. I just missed anti-mozzie (forgot mine).
A jewel, spacious, clean, full DSTV, close to Spar, large garage and 2 minutes from the Phalaborwa gate. Here I will be able to stay permanently.
The room with its kitchen and bathroom are very clean.

The accommodation was very good, good service and very good value for money, will stay there again.
The place is so beautiful with clean rooms. The weather was perfect without the need of warm clothes in June. The place is close to everything (Shops, Garages, Banks etc). Phalaborwa's Kruger National Park Gate is a few meters from Casa Leitao Lodge. Spacious rooms, and to top that it has WiFi and DStv. I will definitely be staying here again in winter.

Very comfortable and tidy in front. The ladies who clean need a duster to get out all the cobwebs with spiders (daddy-longlegs in the roof of the room, under the wooden table and kitchen chairs). Ceiling fan only works on slow setting and one of bedside lights did not work. Notice that the floor at the entrance to the kitchen was very sandy.
I would like to mention the following. We were allocated the wrong room at 3:30 in the morning when we drove to change rooms. No forks and dishcloths. One aircon remote was gone. Then get him in one of the beds. Grill not cleaned after our night 1 barbeque, had to do it myself night 2 and mowers in trash.
Room met all our needs. Nicely close to Phalaborwa Gate. Guests made noise until late on the Friday night. So we slept badly.
Ideal location and rooms well appointed with Wifi for everyone (especially big kids), will definitely come and stay again. Have a nice barbecue and visit.
We stayed two days at the lodge and really enjoyed our stay there. The room was set up really nicely, not too small, but snug. Also the room was very clean. The room also came with plates and glasses, AC, WiFi, a pool and a TV and other things. No disturbances whatsoever and the staff was quitw friendly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Casa Leitao.
Well located near the Phalaborwa gate of the Kruger National Park. Safe and staff are very friendly. Rooms are very comfortable and tidy.
Everything was as advertised, the thick wooden counter was quite special.
After a week's trip without proper facilities, Casa Leitao Lodge was an oasis in the desert.
For the fast traveller, it is very well located, especially if you are visiting the Wildlife Park. It is less than 2 minutes' drive to the Phalabor gate.
I will definitely stay there again.
Gate is permanently open only in the evening from 10 o'clock not safe, otherwise excellent.
We were quite satisfied with the accommodation, but before we left brought a few minor issues to the manager's attention which would further enhance the quality of the unit. In addition to the fitted sheet, we would like to have a top sheet as no one can sleep under a duvet in the Lowveld summer, but as elderly people we still prefer a light cover. No soap was provided in the bathroom. Crockery, cutlery, microwave oven and kettle are provided for self-catering, but no facility for washing up used items. It is not acceptable to use the bathroom sink for that. There is more than enough space to build in a sink.
The TV was not functioning where we stayed, room 5.
Other guests were partying and drinking and making noise until late at night, nevertheless we couldn't sleep, despite rules that say people can't barbecue and swim after 9:00pm. No rules were applied, I will never stay there again in my life. Wasting money. Stay away, no enforcement of rules or appreciation for peace and quiet.
The unit was neat. They could only have ensured that the sugar, tea and coffee container was kept full.
We certainly enjoy our stay. Our booking was made easy by TravelGround people. And the guys in the front desk (Amu & Oliva) were helpful and always ready to serve us.
The staff was very helpful, management was attentive. Clean and comfortable rooms. Relaxed environment.
VERY NICE OVERNIGHT FACILITY....THE PLACE IS STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION AND NOT FULL YET NOT FURNISHED.....NONETHELESS IT STAYED VERY NICE.
The unit was clean and tidy, but unfortunately permeated with a strong unpleasant body odor indicative of an unhygienic previous visitor/s occupying the unit. We could not neutralize the smell at all.
Would recommend they cater for water shortage, couldn't use shower or toilet at all.
Location is great and service was friendly.
