About 25 km gravel road, but in good condition - travelled it easily with our Ford Fiesta. No problem and it assured a real Karoo-quiet stay! We had a nice walk after a long day's travelling. Recommended.
If you are looking for Karoo silence far away from the town or N1, this is the place. It is not luxurious, but clean and tidy. The host was friendly and gave us good directions.

The gravel road is a bit long, but worth it for the peace and quiet.
Guests just need to be aware of the distance outside Beaufort West. The game in the game camp in the morning on the way back to the N1 was very beautiful. Host can just put out more sugar with coffee and tea. Please also see that gas is full and whether there are enough matches for the gas stove to boil water with loadshedding. And if gas is right, look for boiler to put on gas. Sink plugs are missing, would help if there are.
We loved the peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. The house is well equipped and the fresh flowers in every room were very special. Very hospitable people. The starry sky and silence were very special!
The shower did not work. Too much scale in the shower head. Did not see Marietta before we left. She does need to know it.
This is a very affordable accommodation with kind and very responsive hosts. Do not expect to find a Chateaux.
There was practically no water in the shower. The water that was there was either boiling or ice cold. The sink was dirty with hair in the drain. The sink faucet was loose and spinning. There were ants everywhere even on the beds. The fan and lamps worked with two prongs, but there were no two prong plugs. There were some broken light bulbs.
Accommodation is located about 25 km from the main road on a relatively good dirt road.
If your travel time allows, brave the few kilos of dirt road. It's peaceful and typical Karoo on the farm. End the evening with a nice braai wood and grill are provided. No signal and no water in the shower during our overnight stay.
We were pleasantly surprised! The accommodation was in a beautiful old house and met all our needs. The rooms are spacious and the house is very well furnished. The only downside is the slightly long dirt road to get there, but the peaceful farm atmosphere makes up for it. Thanks for a nice evening, we will definitely come again!
At first I thought it was just for the room we paid for, but we were pleasantly surprised to have the whole house to ourselves.

We could stretch our legs and rest in silence. Distance from the N1 (after driving 1000km) is a bit long, but dirt road was in good condition.

The owners made an effort to make our stay good. They were friendly and helpful. However, the place itself needs work, a good cleaning and renovation. The pool was green, because the pump was apparently broken. If the renovations, a good cleaning and improvements are done, the place has a lot of potential to be a very good guest house.
