128 guests' feedbackOur second time staying at Check Inn Hotel, the room is comfortable and clean. A small kettle for making your own tea or coffee would be nice, but the vending machines and microwave downstairs are convenient, and there are plenty of places in the nearby vicinity to get good coffee. Another factor some people would need to consider is that the shower, toilet, and basin are small and the space is limited, but otherwise the shower is sparkling clean and the water is nice and warm. If you need a safe, clean, and comfortable place to sleep, rest, and shower, this is the place. Great value and the staff are helpful and friendly. We will stay again.
The accommodation is neat but cramped and is slightly different from the normal. No coffee making facilities in the rooms. Well a machine in the lobby two floors down without any elevators. Difficult for older guests with knee problems. Carrying our luggage up the stairs was almost a workout. This information can be provided on the booking information.

Our room was neat and clean. Ideal for a weekend trip. Good value for money. Walking distance to restaurants. Close to Seapoint Promenade. Although "hotel" is relative, we would definitely stay here again.
It looks like a contradiction! 5 stars for every category yet I indicate that I will not recommend to anyone to stay there. The answer is simple. All was fantastic at the hotel, but there were noisy guests throughout the 8-day stay during the night. Shameful! And the hotel staff, although concerned, do nothing about it. And not just noisy but it appeared that most of them were intoxicated. Truly shameful! But the Hotel is great! Pity! Surely guests must conform to basic human values. And the coffee dispenser is always problematic.

Check Inn Hotel was exactly what I needed. Working nearby at the stadium, I was out early and back late, so I needed a convenient location that would give me a place for a good sleep. Parking is limited with only about 14 parking spaces behind the gates. There is also parking on the wide sidewalks, which is the Cape Town way. Being within walking distance of my destination was absolutely brilliant. As I had work to do at night, the executive room with the built-in desk was exactly what I needed too. The bed was comfortable with crisp linen and the shower was hot. I would stay here again.
I had an awesome stay. The place is close to almost everything; you just take a five-minute walk to buy everything you need. I just wish their coffee vending machine was real, but that's not a train smash. Great service as well.

The hotel is located in a very convenient area, close to restaurants and a Spar. For a low-budget stay, it is perfect! However, the noise within the hotel on Friday night hardly allowed people from the other room to sleep; they had a noisy sing-along party until 3am. No one from the hotel said anything. The banging of the doors was disruptive. Our room was not cleaned on Saturday when we got back! That was really disappointing. We left the hotel in the morning for a swim, only to come back to shower and get ready for the next adventure, and were asked to wait for cleaners to clean at 14:00! But they just did a quick touch up.

This stay is perfect if attending an event at the Cape Town Stadium. The rooms are tiny with a miniature bathroom, but for a one-night stay, it's perfect. It's about 500m walk to the stadium. Parking is a problem, and a kettle in the room would have been nice.

It was very pleasant and close to the stadium, which satisfied the purpose of the visit. The only complaint is that the bedding and pillows were not clean, and I requested them to be replaced. It took a while, but the reception was very busy.
The stay was okay, however, the absence of a lift/elevator is a turn off. I would also recommend a safe in each room.

Nice stay but space in rooms limited, would stay there again but not for longer than a weekend, right place for watching rugby at the stadium. Very noisy because some people do not consider a person's peace of mind, especially after 10 in the evening. TV channels are also weak.

Expectation was met; however, a kettle and a small fridge would be appreciated to make it more convenient. You get what you paid for. Stairs make it a bit difficult for older people; a lift would be more convenient.

I initially booked for 1 night and then changed to 2 nights. Unfortunately, it was not communicated, so it was a bit stressful. The team at reception were very helpful and sorted it out on their side. Agree with all the other feedback regarding the lack of a kettle, bar fridge and lift. Other than that, it's perfect.

I didn't like the fact that the basin was in the bedroom. Also, there was only one iron for the entire hotel. Each room should have its iron, mini fridge, and coffee utensils.
No lift, thus stairs could be a challenge for some aged and those with disabilities. The shower area is a bit cramped and personally, I have a dislike for open showers due to invariable wetting of the floor area which in turn could be a safety issue.
A kettle in the room would be a plus, it's inconvenient to go to reception every time for boiling water. Parking also a problem, had to park in the street in front of the hotel. But other than that it was good accommodation at pocket-friendly prices.
Stay in Hotel ticks all the boxes but the bathroom is not practical. No space to put your soap, shampoo, or conditioner we had to put it on the floor, no space between the toilet and the door. My husband is tall and big built it was very uncomfortable for him. No shower curtain the flour gets soaking wet when you shower.

Very neat and a good location. Good accommodation for a night as space is very limited and parking is a big challenge if you drive your own car.
What they offer on their home page is what you get. Value for money in a city bent on exploiting tourists.
The location is great, aircon and TV did not work. Small room, fine for an overnight stay, close to restaurants and shops. You get what you pay for. Minimum available parking so you have to park outside on the road.
Unfortunately there was a problem in our room and then had to sleep in another room one night while the problem was resolved. The room was also rather smaller than the one we did book. Luckily we were at Cape Town Sevens all day the next day, otherwise we would have been without a place to go. When we arrived at 17:30 we had to wait another 10 minutes before the room was ready. The situation was a bit inconvenient, but the staff were friendly. The hotel is neat, the parking is limited so unfortunately we had to park our car across the street.
Would recommend anyone to use their accommodation.

Rooms contain only absolute essentials. Bed, toilet, shower, hanging space for clothes and air conditioning. Very reasonably priced for location. Good restaurants and coffee places within 5 min walking distance.

Really very good stay.
The service had been poor. I had to wait for about half an hour so that I could book in, my booking was not on the system at all. After 30min of waiting I go to my room only to find out the card doesn't work and back again. The second disappointment was the fact that it indicated there was parking available, I called to confirm if there was parking and they confirmed. When I got to the hotel all the 8 parking spaces were taken and I had to park across the road at my own risk. It was completely disappointing, I almost couldn't even find a parking space due to the Sprinbokweg stryd.
But tiny. Also only the absolute basics. You can get better value for money by booking private bed and breakfast places. Only the basics are there. No bathroom floor mat, no toilet brush, no cupboards for clothes (though there is a tiny space to hang things). Very tight. However, very clean, neat and quiet. Probably a good place to sleep if you arrive at 21:00 and need to leave by 06:00. A good, firm bed and clean good quality linen.
The rooms and bathrooms are very small, but it is walking distance to the stadium and the Waterfront. Everything was very neat and clean. These are fair rates for what one gets.

They are very honest; my wife lost her earring in the dark when it was loadshedding, we called and they found it and we could send a courier to get it. Would not recommend the place for people over 6 feet.
Everything was good just our hiccups of bookings was not made but thanx to check inn manager they sorted it out in a jiffy.
No lifts, when you have a heavy luggage, you must carry it up the stairs. Coffee machine does not offer coffee but only Milo and it is weak, you have to go out to other hotels to buy coffee in the morning. The staff was welcoming and helpful and the room was clean but no space, it is too small.
It was noisy, the staff is very loud and don't respect one's peace, we put on the sign to say we don't want room service but the cleaning supervisor still had a conversation with the cleaning ladies to tell them to knock and ask if we really don't want room service, the wardrobe is very tiny with no ironing facilities and tea, tea and kettle are basic things to find in hotel rooms and this was the first time I was in a room with no tea and kettle, but mostly what put me off was the noise levels, the staff were having loud conversations at our doors and we could hear everything. The only person that gave wonderful service was the reception guys.

Very small restroom and slippery shower. I almost fell when getting out. The room was not as advertised. My stay was uncomfortable and I'm disappointed. The only benefit I had is that check-in is until 0:00. I checked in after 10 pm.
The hotel is located near many attractions, so in a safe environment and it is easy to find the hotel. Very neat and in a clean environment.
