Marloth Park is home to free-ranging wild game including kudu, giraffe, impala, zebra, baboon, warthog, vervet monkeys, wildebeest, ostrich and the occasional leopard, lion or cheetah. The town also has 2 shopping centres, a service station, 2 public swimming pools, and various restaurants for guests to visit.

10 guests' feedbackThe pool and swimming area were great! Security was excellent. The air conditioner works great. Our hostess was nice on the phone. The house was not cleaned and the dishes, plates, and mugs still had food/coffee on them - we had to clean the kitchen and wash the dishes and pans before use. Fridge was dirty. The outdoor shower was dark and messy because the warthogs sleep there. The indoor shower is inside a narrow tub and the shower pipe was leaking but was fixed after we reported it. The sink in the bathroom is loose and the toilet is very low and uncomfortable - good for children? The windows had exterior wooden doors that were locked and we were too scared to open them in case there might be spiders - we were two women - it would have been very nice if they had been opened when we arrived. The lapa was full of cobwebs that were not just a few days old. Bedrooms are so small downstairs that the bed is against the wall on one side and has a very narrow space to stand on the other side, the beds were of poor quality. Stairs to the upper bedroom are of different heights.
The house was dirty. Nothing like the photos.
Maybe get an inside shower and more lighting. Everything else was perfect.
I would highly recommend Chips n Debs to anyone looking to escape the city. It is very peaceful, well-kept and comfortable to stay there. The warthogs and ibex are very tame and walk right past the house. The braai facilities are very neat and the silence of the bushveld is heavenly. Thank you very much for a wonderful time with you!
The fact that there is no TV gave everyone the opportunity to spend some family time together. Soaking in the pool and watching the wildlife walking by and doing their thing was amazing. It was extremely hot in the area and even though the fans helped an air-con in the main room upstairs would have been great. The air-con downstairs really did do the trick and kept the place comfortable.
We will come again for sure.
Rondavel is very dark in all common areas. Needs a very good clean in all the hard to get areas. Very good oven and kitchen equipment.
Can't wait to go back.
Beautifully laid out, in the heart of the forest, with a lovely outdoor shower and swimming pool to cool off. Just a few minutes from the Kruger National Park.
Very nice, cozy place. Good facilities and very friendly service. Will definitely use the place again.
