The well-appointed en-suite rooms, each with their own separate entrances are equipped with numerous practical and personal touches that make our guests feel at home. The huts feature either king-, queen-sized beds or two single beds, and exude an authentic brand of African charm.
All our suites have been designed for maximum comfort based on 2 persons sharing, but they also have Garden and Sunset huts that can accommodate up to one child under the age of 12. This is a sleeper couch/mattress in the same room as the parents; or the Orchard hut can accommodate up to 2 children under the age of 17, although special arrangements can be made should it be three children under the age of 12. This is a bunk bed/sleeper couch in the same room as the parents.
The Garden-, Orchard- and Sunset huts have en-suite bathrooms (with shower, basin and toilet), tea- and coffee-making facilities, fridge, ceiling fans, alarm clock radio's and hair dryers.

The staff were all friendly and we had a great meal at the restaurant. The pool's atmosphere is also very nice for the warmer days and we had a great time relaxing there. The room is spacious and tidy. The gardens are well maintained and create a beautiful view from the rooms. It's a nice distance from the Addo Elephant Park. We really enjoyed the Crisscross Adventures and it was a bonus that they picked you up at the Lodge. There is only a communal braai; we would have liked to have a small braai at our unit to be able to braai there in the evenings.
We only spent one night here, but wish we could have stayed longer. This really is a world-class facility and very suitable for a family holiday. It is very close to the Addo Elephant Park which makes day visiting easy. We will really try to make a visit here again for longer.
A wonderful place, with friendly owners and staff. They really went out of their way to accommodate us with our requests. The breakfast was absolutely delicious!
Very cute place. Very good customer service. They make an effort to make it enjoyable for smaller children as well. Cute playground outside and inside the restaurant. Chef prepared very nice food!

We spent the night here on our way to Addo Park. The friendly welcome of hosts (and dog) made us feel at home immediately. The accommodation was well appointed and overlooked the large lawn. We also booked for dinner, and enjoyed a delicious meal for a very, very reasonable price. Breakfast was also top notch. We recommend it without a doubt and will return in the future.

The staff and service were great!
We travel frequently domestically and internationally and really enjoyed this stay! The only problem we encountered at Chrislin was that the bank machine for card transactions would not work. This was in no way caused by Chrislin and they were even willing for us to do an EFT transaction later. Perhaps the bank should be asked to ensure that these services are in working order, especially for foreign tourists.
Very dedicated staff with extremely professional service. Loved the mud huts, but all didn't like the fact that there is no door for the bathroom - some places should be private. We didn't take advantage of the offer to have dinner there as we found the prices too high - R220 per person for a braai is a bit steep. Loved the pool and the lapas and we were also always accompanied by Jack (who is one the greatest dogs I have ever met!). Thank you, especially to Bernadine who was very sweet and helpful. Would definitely come back!
Even though we only spent one night at Chrislin African Lodge, the staff made us feel so welcome! They catered for a special diet and the food was tremendous. We will definitely be returning and have already recommended it to friends!
