There was no power and it was hot, but the owners kept me informed although they themselves were not sure why there was no power. Overall nice and tidy and I was satisfied.

Personally, I will recommend Clifton Guest House to anyone. Despite the fact that the service is excellent, Wynand is also an excellent host that sees to it that his guests are happy and satisfied. I will overnight there again anytime or even stay a weekend.
Very friendly reception. Everything in the room and bathroom was clean and tidy. Lovely spacious room. Affordable accommodation with spacious room for 2 people with en suite bathroom with shower. Bed linen and towels, glasses, cups, kettle and coffee, tea and sugar available.

Reception friendly and everything was in place as advertised. Room was neat and clean. Mattress very comfortable. Secure parking on site with plenty of shade trees. Microwave and full DStv with all the channels on a modern bright flat screen TV (usually you only get SABC channels or limited DStv on older TV sets). Environment was peaceful and quiet. Would definitely stay there again and recommend the place.

People were friendly and forthcoming with my requirements was calm and I was able to relax I was there after a big sporting event that I participated in so needed the peace and quiet the breakfast we ordered there was delicious we did leave too late pay. First realized after all was gone but generally good place.
Clean and tidy room. Very friendly and helpful service. And finally a breakfast where the fried tomato is still warm.
Quality for any couple or single traveler. It's safe, tidy and offered with friendly service! Will definitely use again!
