The place to stay and the estate are breathtaking and so peaceful. We enjoyed it incredibly much. It is nice and close to all the tourist destinations. I really recommend them for a getaway. Lindy was always ready to help with any questions and very friendly.
The house is neat and clean upon arrival. Well equipped (only missing a grater - possibly he was just somewhere) Detail on small things (such as extra toilet paper, dish soap, candles). The braai was cleaned every morning. We enjoyed it very much. Had very good communication with Lindy who runs the house. Thanks will recommend the house for sure.

We enjoyed the tranquility scenery view and most of all the house was a home away.
It's a nice place and indeed a good place to be with family or friends. But I think they need to offer WiFi as well and the other house TV was not working, it was saying the channels were blocked so not sure what was the meaning of that, and they also need to supply hand wash soup at their bathrooms. Nonetheless, everything was fine.
Back door lock no longer works. The kitchen accessories are a bit skimpy.

Perfect accommodation in the most beautiful surroundings. Location is ideal for exploring the surrounding area and wildlife park. House is beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Fireplace and heater for the cold evenings and beautiful plunge pool with a view of the pond.

The location and area are attracting and the weather is perfect for holiday. The family loved it and wish to come back again.
Place needs a good cleaning (walls dirty, deck falling into each other, the separate room's bathroom full of mold and bathroom door can't close, wall behind bed very dirty, shower of 2nd bathroom broken, toilets are all creepy to just to name a few: fellow vacationers being noisy, shooting fireworks and loud music were the order of the day.
We had such a nice stay and it's very beautiful. The kitchen was just not fully equipped, but otherwise it was delicious.
We had a pleasant stay, enjoyed the sun downer cruise. The accommodation is pleasant with very nice views of the lake from the deck.
Hazyview is a very nice place and we have enjoyed it. We are planning to come back with our kids, it was a family trip for adults only.

Very neat accommodation, comfortable beds, wonderful view! Always felt very safe. Staff all extremely helpful and friendly. Not difficult to get there from Gauteng.

Nice place for family stay. But boat tour service of De Gama Lake need to be improved. Only one boat with defective spark plug. Tour cancelled because there was no spare plug.
It was a relaxing week. We were just not impressed with the garbage smell blowing around. The inventory list showed a hairdryer but there was not one. The photos on the website are not the same unit as the one we stayed at.
Unit was clean and tidy. Peaceful view with some road noise from nearby highway. Lights from cars at night disturb master bedroom. Good fishing spot and walking trails. Make sure you take everything you may need with you as there is no shop on site. Would recommend as good value for money.

On the website it sounded like a very peaceful environment. There was even an e-mail that warned that one should speak softly when visiting outside. But the unit is close to the highway and the noise and lights of the cars and especially the trucks are terrible. It was very unpleasant and we didn't even stay the full time. I feel it should be said on the website, that one can make an informed choice. We expected a quiet place next to a pond.
Beautiful view & relaxing atmosphere.
We really enjoyed being at Sycamore cottages as a family. The kids loved the pool so much and we all had much fun. We wouldn't mind visiting it again.
