154 guests' feedbackThe grandeur of the surrounding mountains was food for the soul. The representation of activities as laid out for three days (four nights) was perfect.
We stayed in Olienhuis, which was lovely. The view from the stoep is beautiful, and there was an amazing variety of birds. The house was tastefully furnished, and the beds were comfortable. We will be back, but this time for 2 nights.
My fiancé and I stayed at De Pakhuys for 2 days, and it was definitely worth every penny. The view was amazing, and we will definitely be coming back.
Calm atmosphere. Clean and tidy. Very friendly treatment. Great getaway and a great farm atmosphere. Will definitely come here again.
Not impressed at all.
Quietness and privacy of the house was a bonus.
Very unique destination.
Bath plug doesn't seal - water keeps coming out. Shower does not drain effectively - water pools up, later stands in pool of water which then later runs down over pavement. Kitchen utensils and plates not up to standard. Several broken tiles around unit. Old, worn and dirty cushions on chairs. Canopy on reeds in shower weather. Kitchen windows dirty.
Beautiful surroundings, lots to do, too much for just one visit.
The area is beautiful. The accommodation was quiet and tidy, and the outdoor shower was a winner. What we would expect is better. 1. Small finishing touches - the cleaning stuff left on the porch just like that, the broken window frame propped up against the stones and defective zipper on the tent panel. 2. Precautions for loadshedding - candles, gas/battery lantern would have been handy. 3. Better indications about the distance to the waterfall - almost tried to walk there in the late afternoon which with the sketchy route indications and approaching darkness would have been a fiasco.
Arrive there to see everywhere you have to clean yourself and take your rubbish with you or you will be fined. You must ensure that all dishes are washed and packed away otherwise you will be fined. To say the least, in all my many years of traveling I have never encountered anything like it. I had to travel with the garbage bag to my next destination.
De Pakhuys (Kuru tent) where we stayed was very well appointed among beautiful rock formations and very private. The staff went the extra mile to accommodate us with unusual requests. We will definitely come again. The waterfall was definitely a nice trip.
House was not completely clean. Oven dirty and beds that don't sleep well. Comfortable self-catering. We had to remove rubbish from the premises ourselves which was inconvenient when traveling and there is nowhere to dispose of things.
What a great surprise. The pictures were correct! The cabin was set against the rocks and we felt as if we were miles away from anyone. The cabin itself was great. And the area is great for hiking and bouldering. A great find.
The Sheep House is located next to a cave with Khoisan drawings. It's a spacious tent house with everything you need to meet your needs. The beds are comfortable with cozy bedding. Thys is a good host. The receptionist needs some training.
Beautiful setting with many options.
Nicely hidden and private. Room just wasn't suitable for 3 adults, but otherwise I would go back, no doubt.
The location of De Pakhuys is well situated for further viewing of the Sederberge. The apartment had everything we needed to make our stay pleasant. The fire place in the unit was greatly appreciated for the cold winter days and nights.
Location is picture perfect, Sederberge is special. Just two small things, our shower didn't have a door and we were very concerned about the wooden floors. There are no cleaning services, for example your braai and fireplace are not cleaned, it is difficult to do it yourself because there is nowhere to throw it away. You must take your rubbish with you. The fireplace and heater are nice especially for the winter. Would definitely recommend.
Plenty of walks on the farm and fascinating watching the olive pickets. Our dog loved it too. It would have been useful to know there is no freezer in the fridge. Fortunately it was winter so our meat lasted.
Incredibly nice stay. Everything works great and is in good condition. Suggestion: that we are only told at booking that garbage must be removed ourselves. An egg spatula and scissors are missing in the kitchen.
Here your soul can find rest, here you get rid of any discontent that lurks inside you. Open starry skies and breathtaking mountains watching over you. Nice secluded place to stay. Thanks for the nice biscuit.
If you are looking for peace and quiet, with comfort in the mountains or between the mountains, this is the place for you. Will go back again for sure. Absolutely worth it.
The Sederberge offer an incredible amount for the nature lover. De Pakhuys is a star destination that not only offers excellent accommodation but also many adventure opportunities.
Very nice location with beautiful view.
Puik diens.
Whatsapped in advance about arrangements when we arrive. Still, we wanted to inquire about the area, but there were no staff to be seen all weekend. Also did not respond to Whatsapp messages asking about hiking trails in the area. The Log Cabin was clean, but bathroom (toilet) needed cleaning. We were not told in advance that we had to remove our rubbish ourselves when we left and if we left it there we had to pay a fee of R200. Also if we leave any dishes to be washed. Perhaps it could have been communicated beforehand. The contact person at the campsite who we finally got to point us to the gorge route half-heartedly explained the route to us with his toe in the sand. The trail was overgrown and the last part was not marked because apparently he ran out of paint when he marked the trail. This caused us with children to find our own route out of the gorge which was very dangerous at stages. What is indicated in their book as a 2 hour walk turned into a 4 hour walk due to the quality and poor indication of the route. Would not recommend for families at all.
We regret we didn't stay another night. Place is amazing. Between olive groves on a farm. The place is neat clean and modern. Spacious enough. The Grass roof and sails also give the place a good atmosphere. It is very quiet and no noise. Place is well equipped for cooking. Perfect place to rest.
We really enjoyed the silence. The facilities are very neat and well appointed. We did one hiking trail on the farm and it was definitely worth it. Only negative points I can mention are the cats that are always at the cottage, come in and beg for food. Furthermore, we had no hot water and although I reported the faulty gas geyser, there was no action or feedback on the issue.
Lots of nice areas to explore on the farm, rock formations are incredible. We loved the chickens and geese. We also took our doggies with as it's pet friendly!
Weekend getaway from the city.
No customer service, no toilet paper. Braai facilities in very poor condition.
Clean, tidy and cosy. The place is awesomely laid out.
Beautiful Sederberg around De Pakhuys.
Very accessible. Friendly hosts and really good accommodation.
I would recommend De Pakhuys to anyone our time was just too short would have liked to stay longer breathtakingly beautiful.
Cottages are very well furnished, everything we needed. De Pakhuys was our last stop after a week of camping in the Kgalagadi and it was so nice to sleep in a soft bed with fresh towels and the warm blanket was a lovely treat. We have already planned our next trip back to De Pakhuys! See you again soon!
Absolutely an experience. Lovely little house with everything you need. Gokmakierie is between giant stones and rocks. Beautiful view. Jacuzzi was a bonus with such a beautiful view. Hiking trail is definitely a must! Tarred road to the farm gate. Ideal for people who want to experience Cederberg without driving on dirt roads.
We wanted to get away for the weekend to relax and unwind in a beautiful place. De Pakhuys was the perfect place for this and we will definitely be back!
Everything was perfect and pleasant. Tent is luxurious and very well furnished. Definitely worth it. Great service and cute braai facilities. Beautiful surroundings.
Good location, good walk, good value in all.
We were a group of 13 for my son's 30th and had a great time, booked 5 chilling units and all were great to stay in.
The Pakhuys pass is incredibly beautiful! A must see!
Stayed in Schaapkraal tent/cottage. Beautiful unit. Outdoor barbecue, and with the cold front, we had everything we needed - fireplace, air conditioner, heater and electric blankets. Big bed, beautiful bathroom and well appointed kitchen. Definitely going back again in the summer. Many hiking trails, mountain climbing, scenery, swimming in farm pond, privacy.
Reception excellent, very tidy, has all the facilities needed. The view of the mountains is wow.
Had a wonderful stay. Great accommodation and wonderful nature. Wish I could go every weekend.
Well appointed accommodation with fantastic surroundings.
Awesome. Very neat, clean and quiet. 10 out of 20 for De Pakhuys.
The bathroom and outdoor shower are beautiful and luxurious. The safari tent is equipped with just about everything you might need. The linen is of top quality.
It's always nice to sleep at Blokhuys with its beautiful view over the olive groves and mountains. The house is fully equipped with everything you could need. We really appreciated the farm silence.
Very beautiful and a lot to do.
The environment in this part of the Cederberge is truly picturesque and you can explore it by means of the many hiking trails that are within walking distance of the cottage. The house itself is cosy, with a lovely braai area and a view of the surrounding orchards and mountains.
Also lovely to swim in the pond after one hike. Lots of great surroundings and lots of great hikes to do.
Fantastic getaway with just the right balance of rest to more than enough to do. The hike to the waterfall was wonderful, the nature and mountains took us away from all other things on earth. It's truly beautiful. Lafenis was found in the pond where children could have fun. The pool under the beautiful green trees welcomed us again and again. Quality time with family and brakkie lover in a terribly large and spacious house with a fireplace that beckons for a winter visit as well. See you again soon for sure.
It is truly beautiful with side sails and a view that scares nothing.
We arrived late and the owner left us a paper with instructions which helped a lot. The room was neat and the view beautiful. We did have some trouble with the gas shower. Very nice hiking trails.
It was the ideal getaway for this frazzled time. Made more manic by the US elections. So good to unwind and listen to the birds, the wind and just be. It was wonderful that we could bring our small dog to enjoy her version of peace.
Lovely spacious tented area a kitchen with everything you need. A fireplace, table with chairs to eat your supper at. Outside the tent a braai area with comfortable relaxing chairs. The beds are very comfortable. Wonderful experience the stay there. The most enjoyable olives ever!
Awesome area, close to the Biedouw Valley to see the wildflowers. Our unit was very private, away from the campers.
Wonderful stay on a working farm hidden from all the other houses and even the campers on the campsite next door. Breathtaking scenery. the place see me again soon.
Special farm with the most beautiful view of olive trees and beautiful mountains. Walked up to the waterfall and was absolutely worth it.
The peaceful farm atmosphere is just what city lads need.
Clean and nice, big indoor braai which worked well for the cold nights in Aug.
Mold on the bathroom ceiling is gross.
Die uitsig was baie mooi en die atmosfeer wonderlik.
Accommodation is well equipped. Very quiet and dark in the evenings. Good place to view stars.
If you want rustic and quiet, this is the place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We only stayed one night. Beautiful location. Couldn't find extra blankets and it was a chilly night.
It is always nice to visit here. This was my third stay. The surroundings are breathtaking and the location is ideal for visiting a large part of the citrus environment as well as the West Coast. The house was very spacious with a lovely porch and braai. The reception was friendly and helpful. Thys, thank you so much for sharing what you have with the public. De Pakhuys always offers something new to discover. The walk on the farm brings a new discovery around every corner. De Pakhuys will definitely see us again!
Ablution facilities need attention. The location and scenery are very beautiful. The new tent homes look fantastic and well appointed.
Ideal for young boulderers. Incredibly beautiful rocks and lots of walking and climbing. Everything needed for basic camping life; campsites fairly close together; not for convenience, but ideal for adventure living.
Will recommend to family and friends.
Environment very nice, accommodation did not meet expectations.
It is a campsite set up for rock climbers from all over the world, and is fit for purpose as a base from which to rock climb. Cabins right on top of each other- we could literally hear the people next door chatting softly to each other. One of us is a snorer - kept the other cabins awake. One of the other cabins had small children who were in our campsite as much as their own. No locks on doors, not even on two of the ladies toilets. No toilet paper. No taps near the cabins - had to get water from the ablutions. No views from cabin except back of another cabin. Really noisy on Saturday night- people partying all over the place. Take ear plugs and water. But nice braai, clean accommodation, beautiful area, lovely dogs, great walks, awesome flowers, very amusing weaver birds, and apparently - Brilliant rock climbing.
We stayed two nights in Kleine School1, so not on the farm. The main road passes behind the house, but it's easy to forget about it on the barbecue patio at the back, with a view of the magnificent mountain. Accommodation is not luxurious, but everything was very clean and we lacked nothing. It was cold and we appreciated the nice warm bedding and a heater. The two bedrooms are small, with no wardrobes. If you don't mind living out of your pocket, this is also soon forgotten. Our dog could also go with us, so we were happy for the fence around the large yard. With a detour in front you can walk to the mountain or walk around between the fynbos and paths, where our dog could jump for joy. After two days we felt at home on the friendly farm and would have liked to stay a little longer. There is a lot to see and experience.
Will return anytime. Accommodation was neat and you couldn't help but feel safe and at ease. Surrounded by the most beautiful mountains. If you are looking for tranquility, De Pakhuys is definitely for you. Feel free to take the walk to the waterfall, it is so beautiful.
The place was incredible and calms one's soul. My girlfriend and I did rent a cabin and it was great - until people decided to set up their tent right next to (actually against) our place of residence, even though there are how many hectares of land where you can camp. One of the girls came up to us in the morning and told us to be gentler which was quite entertaining as we rented the place and couldn't move. It rained a lot so we stayed inside and gave our new neighbors a nice performance with a new song made from crutches and pots. It didn't spoil our stay though, because the whole experience was amazing. Service is excellent: We had to make a call (no Vodacom signal) and one of the owners of De Pakhuys helped me out even though it was after working hours. Thank you very much for everything and we will definitely visit again.
The place is extremely beautiful and very safe. Good service from personnel. Everything you need is available. Very nice hiking trails.
We go away annually for our planning for the year. We looked for a place where we could be quiet. This place was perfect. The nearest neighbors are more than 100m away. It literally felt like we were alone in the woods and we could focus well. Thank you very much.
Beautifully equipped tent house. Lovely stay and view of mountains. At night you see a starry splendor. Will definitely come again. Service excellent.
Will use them again if visiting that area.
Very peaceful. Friendly welcoming by owner. House neat and clean. Would recommend to anyone. Reasonably priced. Will be back.
Very quiet, was a nice view of everything a lot of wild life at night peaceful sleep.
We enjoyed the stay, cooling off in a lovely swimming pool. The facilities were clean and I would recommend them.
Friendly people who can tell about the surroundings, neat, but the never-ending barking of four small dogs (apparently we were declared archenemy by the Jack Russell in charge) on the school house yard made the stay experience very uncomfortable. I trust the other accommodation on the farm will ensure a better experience. Without the dogs, Christmas time there would be perfect.
Very nicely presented, lovely residential units with enough space and nice and clean.
Very clean and tidy, very friendly welcome. Block house is beautiful now!
We really enjoyed the stay. Bergvlei Cottage was convenient and comfortable. It had everything necessary, one only has to bring food and clothes (and wood or charcoal, although that is available at the reception). The night sky was phenomenal since there is almost no light pollution and it was a new moon. One can choose to spend time at the Pakhuys and hike in the area or go further afield. It is a nice base for northern Cederberg outings.
Good place, good magnificent views, great kitchen but unfortunately no safety measures. Bushes surrounded chalet make it difficult to just leisure around. First encounter with dangerous spider (bobbejaanspinnekop) as we unpack when we arrived, couldn't open windows because of moths, mosquitoes, flies and other insects. 2 more dangerous spiders on departure. Maybe if they clear the area around the Blokhuys. I am a lover of nature but don't like to watch out for danger every minute of the day and especially at night. Wanted to visit the shop but it was closed due to some reason. I never saw, let alone met Thys, some kind of welcoming! So yes, never again, although I will recommend it to others cause they might feel not feel the same as I.
I just want to sincerely thank the De Pakhuys team. We had a great time camping this weekend. We really liked our position among the rocks. The ablution facilities were spotless with hot water. We went for a walk with our sheepdog tour guide and had a great time swimming at the waterfall. You will definitely see us again!
According to our booking we should have stayed at Witkruis. We were booked into Bokmakierie. Upon arrival the power was not on at the unit so the fridge was not cold. Wasn't cold until the next morning. There were no extra blankets in the unit. It was not communicated that there is no mobile reception. You only find out when you get to the unit. Also no access to the WiFi, we are too far from the office. Our shower's mixer tap didn't work. If you put it on medium heat, the gas geyser turns off so you shower or burn hot water or ice cold water. Gas stove without any matches or lighter in the unit. Our stay was really not pleasant. All our accommodation booking was passed on, no children allowed. Nothing else. Only in the place of residence is information passed on that there are no cell phone receptions etc. is not.
Thys is very pleasant. There is a lot to do on De Pakhuys and Tracy from The Storytellers is a pleasant bonus!
Friendly reception and fantastic spacious accommodation.
We had a great walk on the farm, we had two friendly tour guides (two very friendly dogs)! The staff is very friendly and helpful, the units has everything that one needs and is very clean. Thank you for a wonderful experience. You will definitely see us again!
Have a nice time and thanks for the heater to keep us warm. The house was clean and tidy and we slept well. Maybe there could have been an extra blanket on each bed. Thank you for allowing us to share in the beautiful surroundings there.
We were just looking for a place to spend the night. The cabin is very basic but the bar fridge and gas stove were a bonus. All was clean and neat.
Beautifully located between the mountains in an olive grove.
Stunningly beautiful, full of peace and fully equipped. The pool and veranda with braai are so well maintained and a wonderful asset.
It was so peaceful away from the city buzz but you have to go in a group. Reason: Felt a bit unsafe and jumpy because there isn't even cellphone reception. What if something happens? Secondly the cabin doors don't lock from the inside. How can you sleep with an open door? So we kept the light on and by 04:00 in the morning we packed our bags and hit the road. I think guests should at least be able to lock the cabins from the inside.
For the price you get safe and clean accommodation in a "cabin" and have to take everything with you. Sorry the wind blew terribly when we were there, but the management can't do anything about that. The facilities are just the same as camping, but the management was very helpful.
Very good accommodation. Great porch for braai and very safe for children. Will definitely visit De Pakhuys again. Very nice location and nice farm.
The service was excellent, it's safe and very tidy.
We had an enjoyable time at De Pakhuis and will probably be visiting again. Scenic and serene, especially our hike to the waterfall. The camp grounds provides you with a rich sense of ancient history being surrounded by massive rocks.
An on-site shop will be applicable for the basic stuff.
Lovely scenery, very beautiful. Campsites are against the rocks and among the trees. The farm feeling is overwhelming and makes you want to start farming. Management very accommodating and friendly. The short dirt road to the office and units is here and there a bit unfriendly for a low car pulling a trailer. No access control, you can enter and exit without moving through closed gates.
We had a great time and a nice swim. Friendly staff. Felt a bit unsafe. Very strange to sleep on a farm without any security.
We were able to get into vacation destination right away! There was hot water (donkey), clean, tidy bathroom. The mattress was firm and the house warm!
So much to see. Experiences for a lifetime! Without a visit to Clanwilliam's attractions, one has no wealth. The world here in Clanwilliam is truly unique.
Accommodation very comfortable. Environment stunning. Beautiful walks available.
De Kleine Skool is a great little place along the R364 with a special location and view of the most beautiful rock formations that greet you. A swimming pool to cool off in in the heat of the moment and special friendly people who greet you in the heart of the Cederberg.
It's the perfect place for if you want to get away. The setting took my breath away. From the mountains to the stars. The falls were like the height of everything. The Cabin itself was very comfortable and it was shaded the whole time.
Traveling with my spouse and 2 adult children, we only stayed one night. We were very kindly received by Thys and our house offered everything we needed. We will definitely come again.
Maybe make the signs larger? Enjoyed it there.
A twofold answer. 1. The area has a treasure trove of natural wonders with the most interesting rock formations and climbing spots. 2. The campsite's ablution is a disappointment. Poorly equipped and after a week the one toilet door was still broken and could not close. 3. The kitchen and washing up area dirty and unhygienic. 4. However, the equipped family chalets look clean and tidy and well equipped from the outside.
For someone who wants to breathe in a peaceful environment, De Pakhuys is the ideal drop-off location.
Interesting accommodation, comfortable beds, eco-friendly, solar heating and lighting. All the basic amenities were available. Time to leave laptops an mobile phones at home. Rather take an adventurous trail to the waterfall. Enjoyed the views.
Very pleasant stay. Thank you. I must also congratulate LekkeSlaap on the service and keep them informed of the discussion. Thank you very much.
Very close to many hiking tracks and bouldering spots. Nice view on Cedeberg.
We didn't stay long, but we enjoyed everything. Great customer service. Neat accommodation. Just worreid about "grey water' from bathroom and kitchen. Gorgeous view. So quiet. Perfect for our needs. Will definitely stay there again. Thanks all.
Thank you for a wonderful stay in your region!
Really enjoyed De Pakhuys - the cottages are all very far apart so it feels like you are alone on the farm. Also, there is so much to explore in the area and the waterfall is beautiful. Great countryside - lots of different hiking and exploring options. Thys, the owner, was very accommodating.
It was a lovely getaway weekend without cell phones and TV. Had a lovely walk and the mountains and rock formations are picture perfect. Our teenage children enjoyed it too. Walked and cycled. Quality time spent together.
We were the 1st to be able to stay in 1 of the new Safari tents. There is nothing wrong with the tent as such, but as guinea pigs there are only 2 issues that need attention for the future: make sure that the gas box is put on a day before the time and there is a lack of a fire extinguisher in the tent (safety with fire a big risk for a fire because no cement slab and a lot of loose dry grass). But overall a very nice and good experience and Thys was very helpful (to get our gas cabinet up and running) and friendly.
Cutlery held together with cable ties, no microwave, toilet paper must be bought, trash bags were outside still when we arrived. Not at all satisfied at R800 per night! Very minimalistic.
He area was quiet, beautiful scenery and we enjoyed the getaway from the city. Would definitely recommend The Pakhuys.
The chalet where we stayed was comfortable, but still new. Therefore not as comfortable as some of the other places on our journey. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay and would go back there.
We really enjoyed it! The surrounding landscape is breathtaking, and in the evenings the stars are fully visible - a definitive plus for us city dwellers. It was hot and unfortunately we didn't anticipate the sun's trajectory very well went pitching the tent, so already early in the morning we were boiled out of there. But there are ample tall trees and facilities to set up camp in enclosed spaces. Definitely worth visiting again!
We will definitely go again. Nice and quiet and beautiful.
It's a pity I wasn't informed that there are no kitchen appliances or plates available. Mirinda, however, was very helpful.
We were kindly received by JP who immediately made us feel at home. The accommodation was to our liking for what we had planned for the weekend. We wanted to camp, but with the comfort of 'your own bed and your own bathroom. This tent accommodation at De Pakhuys lived up to the statement "glamping and not camping". We will definitely visit again.
To start with — the reception was unmanned and only a note was left saying that we should head to a nearby farmstead where someone were to meet us. The person took us to a total other dirty place on a gravel road away from De Pakhuys. The unit where we were placed, was not the unit we booked for. No sign of the beautiful places we saw on the website. We had decided on De Pakhuys because of the beautiful place in the bush we saw on the website. We would have never booked there if we knew that we weren't going to get this place. The place was very dirty. The bedding was dirty and stank. We couldn't use the bedding. We are sorry, but we have nothing good to say about this place nie and we would definitely advise against booking here. We feel betrayed and cheated by third class accommodation.
Thys and Mathys was very helpful with our extra guests. Just one problem, the family shower and aircon did not work. To be fair, we did not report it. We just all used the en suite and the small heaters.
We had a great stay in the new Tortoise Terrace. Everything is spotless and tidy. Simple enough to feel like camping but comfortable enough to stay nice and comfortable.
We had a great time at De Pakhuys. The facilities were adequate. The peace and quiet was wonderful. Very nice place for a weekend away from the city.
See our rating.
Very nice stay, it was very hot, but we were able to cool off in the pond and at the waterfall. If you want to break away for a few days, this is the ideal destination.
The people are wonderful, the nature is breathtaking. Absolutely complete and fabulous.
Our two nights in Dassieden were an experience! Not only is the residence well appointed, but the location is absolutely stunning. Anyone planning a quiet, romantic getaway in the beauty of nature - without the noise of fellow vacationers, may well consider the destination. Dassieden is so privately located, we didn't even know about other people, and were constantly enthralled with the beautiful rocks that we could see from the porch and the bright stars at night. The cool water hole under the waterfall (about a 20 minute walk away) as well as the dam (just a few steps from the tent) were our salvation as it was so hot. We will definitely go there again, but maybe this time not in December, but rather in the fall.
It was one of the best visits ever! The tranquility, the friendliness of the other guests and the walk to the waterfall was breathtaking! Will definitely go there again.
It is so close to nature and you have your amenities all there. We really enjoyed it and will definitely go back again.
The basic accommodation is very poor. Dogs barking all night and communal braai area was disappointing.
We wish we could make it longer, but time has caught up with us - we will definitely go there again and recommend it.
We enjoyed the scenic drive from Clanwilliam over the Pakhuis Pass very much, De Pakhuis being only 26km outside Clanwilliam on a good tar road makes it easy to access. Reception was efficient and friendly and the bungalow clean and well equipped.
As a family of 16 we really enjoyed our stay at de Pakhuys. We all loved the swimming pool after a long hike it was the best. The houses are beautiful and suited our needs. However, the Blokhuys can do with a bit of refurbishing and it is a little far removed from the rest. Other than than we enjoyed a wonderful stay and Thys is a wonderful host. I will definitely recommend this place to family and friends.
The silence, the blaring cupboards, the natural beauty and friendly owners are ideal. It is a very neat place, we have no criticisms.
Had a great meal at Khoisan Kitchen about 7 km away. Enjoy the nature holes!
We really enjoyed our stay. However, there were few towels, only 3 plates for 6 people, no bread plate, and a shortage of cutting knives. Shade outside at the braai place in the form of an umbrella would have been very welcome. Lovely pool!
Nicely central for visiting Wupperthal and further south. Close to rock art and hiking trails. Very nice views from the front porch. Lovely bedrooms, spacious kitchen and living room. We had a great stay! Thanks to Thys and co.
I will go back to enjoy a break there again. The area offers many options for relaxation and the nature is very beautiful.
