49 guests' feedbackVery well-appointed unit. Spacious and just lovely! Very few places have everything I am looking for: bath (big enough for 2), jacuzzi, indoor and outdoor fireplace, and a king-size bed. Lovely host and Alley-cat is just an adorable occasional visitor. Beautiful surrounds.
The host was very helpful and the unit suitable for our stay.
The stay was fantastic. Loved the serenity. The only issue was that the jacuzzi did not smell nice, otherwise we loved the venue.

Went on babymoon to De Wilge, stayed in Lemon Cabin with a hot tub. Had a great experience, place is beautiful, citrus orchards are magnificent and smell is just amazing. Loved it.
If you are looking for a quiet getaway, this is the place.
We stayed one night to celebrate my mother's birthday. The place was wonderfully spacious. We really enjoyed the hot tub. A nice glass of sweet wine was also on the house which we enjoyed just before bed.
Recommended for overnight stays only. The room is in the main house. Not very private. Friendly owner. Clean and tidy.
Amanda is an amazing host just as the reviews stated prior to booking. The guesthouse has 2 lovely doggies who just make you feel right at home. I will definitely book one of the rooms with a Jacuzzi on my next visit.

We had a lovely overnight stay in beautiful surroundings. The accommodation was most comfortable, spotless and perfect and Amanda is a wonderful, friendly hostess. Terribly beautiful and peaceful!
We enjoyed the tranquillity and breathtaking view over the garden, mountains and donkeys a lot. The room and bathroom are very stylish and comfortable. It was lovely to get a taste of farm life. All of the Nuy Valley's beautiful wine farms was just a stone throw away to enjoy. We will definitely recommend De Wilge to anyone looking for a refreshing getaway.

De Wilge was wonderful and we enjoyed every moment. The units, farm, and area were even more beautiful than the pics. Amanda is really friendly and the hospitality was great. We felt at home immediately, throughout the 3 days she made sure that we were comfortable and we had everything we needed. De Wilge will definitely see us again.
De Wilge is very neat, very safe and a particularly beautiful place. Will it be a room in the house or one of the self-catering units. The people are particularly friendly and extremely helpful. They help where they can. We immediately felt at home. And very nice stay. We will definitely see De Wilge again and fully recommend.
We slept very peacefully. The area is beautiful, and the owners very hospitable.
Can easily get to most tourist activities and the hostess has lots of information and advice on where to go.
However, our room was “baie nice” because we are very fond of the “old time“ furniture, as we have in our own home, and Amanda was very hospitable, always making sure we were comfortable and happy. If we had to spend time in that region again, we would ask for De Wilge first. Our only problem we had, was getting lost in Worcester, if you can believe that! We are new to Western Cape and don’t know Worcester at all. There are 3 exits from the N1 Highway into Worcester. If we had known (coming from Tulbagh side) to take the last exit, which is very close to the R60, where we needed to go, we would have been fine. But we are pensioners, we don’t get on too well with Garmins because they shout back at you! And we took the first exit into Worcester, and ended up in the township side of Worcester where there are no R60 signs. Otherwise it was a great wedding and so was De Wilge.
