Very cute, neat, well-equipped house near the beach. The owner makes contact from day one and finds out how they can help. Wasn't sure if we could drink the water so bought jugs of water.
Very safe. The place is well equipped with crockery. Everything was neat and clean. The place is just not very smoker friendly. Have to stand in the cold and smoke. Roll up sails can work quite well.
We really enjoyed Deze Plaats. There is everything you need within walking distance of the beach. You hear the sea so clearly and the outdoor shower is fantastic. The house is very clean and tidy. We enjoyed it so much and will definitely go back again. Thanks to the hostess who was on WhatsApp to make sure we were happy and the fresh milk was a winner. Thank you very much! X.
Very cute and neat accommodation. Small, but everything there that one needs. At the beach and the sea is in your ears, although one cannot see the sea. Perfect for a couple looking to get away.
We had such a nice stay in the cottage. The house is tastefully furnished and we had everything we could need. The porch is lovely and my husband enjoyed the outdoor shower. We will visit again soon.
What a cute little cottage in Boknes. It was very nice there. Everything you need is there. Lovely bed and everything tidy. Every morning we walked down to the bench with our coffee where we could enjoy the beautiful view of the river and sea. Probably 100 m. The outdoor shower was also very nice. Although it was only a weekend I felt like I was on vacation. I had a great time swimming in the river. And we had a nice barbecue on the stoep.
The location is amazing and the hospitality of the owner is top class. The facilities are ideal for friends who want to enjoy a break away.
Deze Plaats is a lovely old house that was just big enough for the three of us! Elizabeth assisted us with advice and action! I fell asleep so well with the sea in my ears! There are so many extras, such as spices, biscuits and fresh farm milk, to name just a few! Elizabeth, thank you very much for an unforgettable stay!

What a lovely getaway weekend thanks to the cutest place on Boknes. Nice fresh farm milk and other treats were waiting for us. There is everything you need and more. The outdoor shower is a hit. Although you can't see the ocean, you can hear it all the time. Bliss! We will definitely visit there again.
At first the reaction was negative towards the shower, but the outdoor experience together with the fact that you don't have to dry off afterwards was awesome.
A very pleasant, caring hostess and she kept us informed about the load shedding, the weather conditions and activities we could participate in in the area.
Deze Plaats is a comfortable house for 3 people. There is everything you need and everything is clean and tidy. Although there is no indoor shower, there is an outdoor shower with hot water for the adventurous.

Old-fashioned cottage Deze Plaats' location is fantastic, a stone's throw from both the river and the beautiful beach. Beds and bedding were good quality; fans, towels, coffee, milk, biscuits and spices were also provided, thank you very much! The tranquility of the surroundings quickly captures you; the stoep cuddles at a nice big table, barbecue and of course the outdoor shower with delicious hot water was a big bonus. There is a nice big fridge in the kitchen but I would have liked a bit more modern pots/pans/accessories in the kitchen, it seems like it is in the pipeline. Thank you very much for a wonderful visit!
It was definitely exactly what we needed, after having a busy time at the beginning of the year. Particularly peaceful and quiet. The outdoor shower is a must to use. We will definitely go again!

Our 3 days there felt like a week long vacation. A very peaceful atmosphere was created with the white decor. The best was of course the outdoor shower!
