We had a very nice stay. It was just very hot there is no air conditioning or cooler. Also no towels in the rooms.

Nice, well-equipped apartment in a quiet and safe complex. Apartment needs a little TLC here and there (floorboards and roof leak). It didn't bother us though. If the weather had been different, we would have liked to use the balcony. (Key not available). Otherwise I can recommend Diaz Beach for a nice getaway. Close to Langeberg Mall and other business places.

"Extremely unpleasant due to description and photos."

Photos are out of date, furniture is old and shabby. Cables from TV and multiplug lie under TV on a small table. The wooden floorboards are loose and broken as previous reviews have pointed out. The two plate stove is in the interior grill opening with no light, making it very difficult in the dark. You have to walk through the kitchen to get to the second bathroom which is a door in the kitchen with the window that opens into the master bedroom closet. The equipment in general in the kitchen is not up to standard, see previous reviews. No chair by the dressing table in the master bedroom as well as an old, flat mattress on a wooden bed and an old, too short duvet. Gray with rough cement sink that has been painted black, it's unhygienic dirty with sink mixer taps in the master bathroom. The sink belongs in a garden for birds/pigeons. The shower is uncomfortable and slippery and gets everything wet when you shower. The hot tub is old and was too scared to use it because there is power involved. The description is very short and doesn't tell you what to expect. People don't read the reviews, neither do I, because previous people have complained about the same stuff but no one does anything about it.

No communication by the owner on where to collect the key upon arrival. The wooden floors were falling apart. We had to mind our step when walking over the floors. Which was a safety hazard. Cleanliness was not up to standard.

The house is very cold. Plank floor lifts due to moisture. Stepping on joints opens them up under weight. There is a shortage of cooking utensils. Frying pan's non-stick coating no longer exists. Unity is terribly cold. Want to prevent if there is a major moisture problem.

Place was neat however the bathrooms require some work. shower curtain was mouldy and torn and the shower head cannot be set and sprays straight into a persons face in the one bathroom. The other bathroom had a jacuzzi bath which is a haven for germs and we were not comfortable using it and the shower floor in this bathroom is concrete which also showed signs of mould. The basin is also concrete and would benefit as an outside feature as it looked grimey and not at all practical where one brushes yor teeth and washes your face. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The idea is there but it does require some practical thought.

I do not recommend the place for 2 couples. There is only one master bedroom, the second bathroom is terribly small and very uncomfortable because the bathroom is next to the kitchen and there is also no window that goes outside for ventilation. The upstairs bedroom is very small for 2 adults and 2 small children.

It was very nice, it's only the bathtub that they show in the photos that was broken, and I had a 5-year-old with us who had a hard time with the shower. They promised to come and fix it for the time we were there, but we are disappointed, they didn't. But other than that it was very nice.

Stay was good, very quiet and safe in the complex. We had a great time and will do so again. Rooms were tidy, but the toilet in the guest bathroom leaked, pans and pots were dirty (no sponges to wash), grills dirty, rusted and unusable. Had to buy a new one.

Place is cute. Unfortunately it was just a bit dirty. There were sticky coffee stains on the table. Cobwebs in many corners. And the floor was dusty, there was only a quick sweep around all the furniture. One could see the layer of dust under bar stools and living room furniture.

I would definitely recommend the particular house. The owner is extremely pleasant, as he keeps you informed about the keys and service. The security is great, the day and night service men who work there were always friendly. The location is fantastic, would easily stay there permanently. A lovely place to rest for 2. Walls are paper thin which made it a bit cold. Some form of heating is recommended. It is very tasty.
