12 guests' feedbackWe spent the night at Die Houthoop. It is a bit expensive for what it offers though. There isn't much privacy in your room. Farmyard very interesting with plants in old tin cups and plates, etc. Enjoy a delicious dinner.
Also had dinner at the accommodation. Very nice.

Had a wonderful stay. Very comfy and clean. Jackie is a awesome host. Very friendly and informative. The seafood buffet was next level. Everything amazing. Would recommend a stay at the Houthoop anytime. Beautiful place in the middle of nowhere. A little piece of heaven in the desert.
The decor of the farm is very cute. It's a lovely, peaceful place where you can just relax. The food is very tasty and definitely value for money.
The open-air restaurant is not available without reservation. We had a long day on the road and hoped to get a nice meal at the restaurant, but unfortunately not. We were not even properly welcomed. The hostess was too busy serving other people in the guest house. We were just shown, the campsite is in that direction and then she disappeared. We did not feel welcome at all. It's a shame because the place is beautiful and tidy.
Bathroom needs to be upgraded.
Best accommodation along that unspoilt part of the West Coast.
The accommodation is extremely small and overpriced. The food in the restaurant was very pleasant. The staff is very friendly.
