What a fantastic getaway. Many thanks to everyone at Die Ou Pastorie who made our evening so special. It was our wedding anniversary and the team put so much effort into making it extra special for us. The food is top notch and everyone is so friendly. The Old Patorie is a loop court! We had a great time on the porch with a view of the lovely garden. Susan and Daniel were super hosts and hostesses.
Our geyser was not on. We had to do it ourselves. Other than that everything was good.
What a gem! Close to attractions, shops, flea markets and the dam when you want to be busy. But if you're looking for a getaway where your soul can breathe, you'll find it when you drive through the gates. Lots of trees, plants, walkways and a beautiful pool. The staff came to pick me up from my car. Extremely helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Food is tasty. I was pleasantly surprised and would go again. There was unscheduled load shedding, but as a guest I didn't experience its effect on me at all.
