La Belle was exactly what we needed.

Heartbreaking to see how quickly Paris is going backwards in terms of potholes, traffic signs being stolen, dirty streets, bums. Probably like every other small town in SA?

For a quick getaway or perhaps a longer stay, La Belle Guesthouse Parys is ideally situated in Parys. The facility is neat and clean with comfortable rooms. The host Venessa, is super friendly and helpful and happy to assist with anything to make one's stay more pleasant and memorable. As a group of friends, we had a lovely time staying at La Belle.
The place deserve all the 5 star credits. Everything were just perfect. If I start getting into details I will end up writing an essay. I can't keep quiet about the host. We were like offered a family room at our arrival for convenience. She is doing a marvellous job. She was so helpful and interacted with her visitors. When I had a serious stomach bug emanating from something I ate at the event I attended. On the day of checking out on Sunday she gave me the self made medication and allowed us to stay more 2 hours to get better.

We have stayed here before (when it was still South East) and each time we were very satisfied and happy with our room! Noisy neighbors in room next to us, but that's not La Belle's fault. Thank you for a peaceful, safe, clean and comfortable place to sleep.
Pleasantly surprised with the neat, spotless, comfortable accommodation at such a good price. We were warmly received by Vanessa and taken to our unit where she showed us everything. The warm blanket in the cold rainy weather was a welcome bonus. Although there was loot power it didn't affect us much, they had an alternative form of power supply. We will definitely stay there again!

Communal braai area is very nice.
The service was very friendly and good. Room is neat and clean. No problems. I booked a separate unit, separate from the guest house, because I prefer more privacy. The first night, the unit next to our people repeatedly got up throughout the night and then smoked just outside our unit. Unfortunately, that smoke then moves directly into our room because the door does not seal tightly. The 2nd night I had to silence the people next to us because they had the TV on loud and also smoked in front of our unit. The guest house is not located in a very good area of Paris, which is a real shame. Again - no fault with the service or the room. If the room door can be somehow sealed, the smoking area can be moved and people can be addressed when they are making noise, it will make a big difference.

The Suidooster Guest House is ideal for long periods of stay, as well as short stays. The units are equipped with just what is needed for comfortable overnight stays.
As I understand it, the rooms had to be serviced daily, but on Sunday, after our day in Paris, we washed and put away our dishes ourselves.

I would suggest more comfortable seating outside each room, though. The concrete benches are not comfortable at all. On our second night, there was a power failure and the little lamp in our room was not very effective. Possibly something a little bigger and brighter would have made it a little easier for us. From booking to payment to communication with Suidooster, as well as details and location via Whatsapp from the owner, everything went smoothly, all within 30 minutes. The accommodation was definitely value for money and we especially appreciated the air conditioning and DStv for this price range. I would definitely recommend the Southeast.

The customer service was very good and we were pleasantly surprised with how neat and beautiful the room was. Everything we needed was provided.
Cleanliness and beauty = full marks. It's also the most important, for us. I missed body lotion in the room - something I never bother with anymore, as most sleepovers usually provide. Practical advice: just for all guest places - if you provide coffee and tea making facilities in the room, provide a drying cloth so that you can dry your cups after you have rinsed them, for 2nd use.

They didn't give us the room I booked when I paid the first deposit that had its own private braai stand. It as clean but when we came back on Saturday evening we found that they didn't change the towels, they were still wet.

Thank you, we had a wonderful stay, we were also received kindly. Early Friday morning I received references to Suidooster. Everything is so beautiful and neat and there was a tranquility in the area. On Saturday we had a meat roast and everything was there. Thank you very much, I would stay there again anytime.
Do not see it suitable for long stay. No stove, but in common area, small two plate stove. During our stay, the wind blew and the loose corrugated iron sheets made a lot of noise.

After dozens of visits to guesthouses across South Africa, Suidooster found the winning combination for me. All expectations of a regular guest house were met, but above all, the room was equipped with everything you need to be self-sufficient as well. Even an "honesty bar". We were delighted with Die Suidooster. The hostess was very friendly and went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. She prepared the braai area for us at no cost to enjoy a barbecue and the generator was immediately switched on when Parys's power went out. The rooms are well planned and have everything you could need: fridge, microwave, kettle, cups, coffee, tea, fresh milk every day and of course an aircon that was a hit on the cold evenings. I was particularly impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the quality linen. I will definitely go again!
