We had such a lovely stay at Domus Tempus. The host was super communicative and kept us up to date with everything he thought we needed to know. The pictures do not do it any justice. The perfect place if you just need peace and quiet. We will definitely be back!
Domus Tempus Kothuis was one of the best for me as a single traveler who stays in different guesthouses and places every week. The peaceful atmosphere and incredibly beautiful view was breathtaking for me. I was received with hospitality and I felt welcome. The Kothuis is extremely neat and spacious which gives you a warm home feeling. One wants to sleep well and believe me, I haven't slept so well at a strange place in a long time. Thank you Izan that I could sleep there with you and your place is just something special. I enjoyed it a lot!
If I had known how beautiful everything is at Domus Tempus I would definitely have stayed an extra night. It is just far enough away from the road that the traffic does not disturb. The house is contemporary, stylish and classic. The photos on the website are an "understatement". We played a nice board game, barbecued and spent quality family time. There is a Njala, a cow, Boer goats and European wild boars walking around, our children appreciated it so much.

Ewelink (Smart app) can be used to control the sliding gate, as well as the lighting and geyser of the Cottage. The geyser is indeed set to keep the water warm itself.
When it rains the dirt road can be a challenge, 4x4 is recommended or of course an adventurous spirit. We will always be able to help if someone might have a problem. In dry weather, the road can be driven with an ordinary vehicle without a problem.
We are currently working on development for forest camps, we will try our best not to disturb you.
There is active agriculture in the area, cattle, goats, other animals, farm equipment and sounds that go with it may be heard, at night it is quiet.
There are monkeys around, keep them in mind, especially when food is left open.
We do not allow fireworks, loud music, parties or other noise.
